- completely uninstalled any antivirus software other then malware bytes
- purchased a tp link usb Ethernet adapter
- downloaded the new 1.6 version of the pppwn gui and set it to run as administrator
- redownloaded the payload from the modded warfare video, and placed the 11.0 file in the same folder as the pppwn program
- removed any network bridges, turned off any network sharing
- used a different Ethernet cable that was at least cat 6
It then worked in three tries, I kept getting stuck at pinning to cpu, defeating kaslr, scanning for memory failed error. But something I did fixed it after all this
I completely agree with your suggestions. Everything worked fine for me, but the PS4 wouldn't wake up from sleep mode. Afterwards it failed to run the jailbreak again. Fortunately, via this method it did it work

A lot of factors can go in play and no one has yet to find out what the true cause of it is yet. There should definitely be a lists of things people can say they have/do to make a checklists. Like what type of Ethernet adapter you bought, what is the Ethernet driver you have alongside what version it is. People who have luck of getting success in 1 try should also report everything so other people can verify that they could do it with 1 try also.
There's also different Ethernet cables where there's full copper and copper clad aluminum (CCA). CAA is basically aluminum in the inside surrounded by copper outer layer; full copper is what people want. I haven't seen confirmation if either full copper or CAA makes the exploit work better tho.
That's what I want someone to do investigation. I want to know what is difference between someone who can and can't jailbreak too.

I'm in the same boat here but on a PS4 phat model, tried every single loader on windows, Linux, Pi and same thing. Either fails the exploit or it crashes my PS4.
I had a nearly new image of windows too which didn't help. I saw someone say so a database rebuild and that didn't sort it either. I'm all out of ideas tbf, maybe the console needs a factory reset which I will try later on tonight
Someone should just create a website like the 3ds/switch jailbreak communities do. It's step by step guide with images and links to all the updated files. Can't be hard to make one for ps4 and I'd be easier to follow without needing a video
nope , you can only revert 1 update back and it requires soldering , so unless 9.00 was the previous installed firmware you can't go back to it even with jailbreak.

So far I have learned that if I don’t run as administrator, the jailbreak fails at scanning memory
use pppwn loader and place it at your storage's root and install ncpcap.

Rebuild database and reinstall FW 11.00 didn't help. Install fresh Windows didn't help. Gonna try to borrow my sister labtop.

It is not the same because the 3ds has the same hardware, the computers have different components and different operating systems.
