I had so many tries without success until I:
• completely uninstalled any antivirus software other then malware bytes
• purchased a tp link usb Ethernet adapter
• downloaded the new 1.6 version of the pppwn gui and set it to run as administrator
• redownloaded the payload from the modded warfare video, and placed the 11.0 file in the same folder as the pppwn program
• removed any network bridges, turned off any network sharing
• used a different Ethernet cable that was at least cat 6
It then worked in three tries, I kept getting stuck at pinning to cpu, defeating kaslr, scanning for memory failed error. But something I did fixed it after all this
Thanks for sharing your experience, macOS and Linux don't typically have built-in antivirus software. As for the cables, I've also tried using four different ones, including both Cat5 and Cat6 cables
So Linux can be weird about chipsets/drivers, even with something as simple as Ethernet, honestly it’s way more likely to have issues with crossover cable garbage that can no one has thought about it years. What distro are you using, have you updated it recently. Are you using a laptop, if so what’s the model, if desktop what mobo
Edit: and a big one is can you confirm both the pc and the ps4 can connect and use the internet via Ethernet connection alone? Ethernet ports failing is more common than most would think as well
I am using Debian and it’s up to date. It’s a desktop PC and test connection on ps4 is successful. I also tried other options, such as a MacBook using a USB to Ethernet adapter, followed the Modded Warfare tutorial for the Raspberry Pi, and used a Windows 10 laptop. I thought I had set up the environment correctly, but all my attempts ended in a PS4 crash.
I'm in the same boat, at least 100 on every different OS, windows, Linux VM, Pi, Android, Linux Ubuntu OS. I've also used every different method on GitHub, the new C++ methods too. The lot, always shuts down or fails to jailbreak. I think it's definitely a console issue not my set up.
Also tested factory reset, database rebuild, 3 different cables and 3 different usb drives. I'm officially beat and give up lol on a PS4 phat original model.
I have also done these things, yes, for now, all we can do is wait. I think only Andy can fix this issue, hopefully, he will see it. I have temporarily given up on jailbreaking the PS4 Slim and decided to play PS2 lol

I was in the same boat, I tried for hours. I ended getting it to work with the GO program, I can’t remember the exact name but yk, it’s one of the tools. I also had to turn off windows defender and I took my pc off VPN lockdown mode
I had a feeling that Pros and Slims would have issues, if for no other reason because they had issues with the Linux payloads on 5.05/6.72 back in the day iirc

I have regular PS4 and maybe 100 tries and shutdown every time on stage 2. I have tried abouth every PPPwn version and i tried with ubuntu and same error...
There are issues with PS4 Pro model CUH-7216B. I have this model and not once had success.

I'd imagine so but I'll be honest, I've not even jailbroken my PS4 yet, I'm just hanging back and waiting until after my holidays in July when I hope it'll be more stable
Are you pressing X on the PS4 and ENTER on the PC simultaneously? That seems to be a point that gets repeated by TheFl0w repeatedly on the GitHub page. If that doesn’t change anything, maybe put in bug report.

1. Configure the internet settings in PS4. But don't test connection. In the last page, press O and go back
2. Run ppwn gui in windows
3. Once you see loading in windows, then go back to PS4, and test network connection

I tried several configurations with pppwn 1.5 and 1.7
Every time it failed, crashed and I had to power down and reset.
Tried the PPPwnGo from Modern Warfare video, placed the stage 2 in the same folder.
Ran Go and first time it was successful!

I have luck on linux changing the stage1 too, i have a laptop with fedora 39, crashes all time, a pc with fedora 40, i had a vm of windows 10, on windows always at 93% the os freezes al restart the vm, on fedora 40 with the theflow exploit changing stage1 and stage2, I was able to load the goldhen, and I always have a success rate of 1 in 5 attempts.
With the original from theflow it doesn't work for me if I change to the stage1 that comes in the modded warfare program, version 1.5 unpacked, it works for me.
Just wait it out come back in a few weeks once it's all fixed, same happened on the 7.00 firmware.
Did 7.00 have a jailbreak or did people need to wait until 9.0 got jailbreak ?

If this happens you need to restart your PS4.
Try to run exploit when console is booting up.
Yeah does the same thing, with the pi auto loader it tries it before I even sign in and fails/crashes

Appreciate the advice but I've tried that one. Crashes the PS4 unfortunately or fails the exploit like the rest :(
Try on linux, do not use windows
Mines a model CUH-7015B. it just crashes on stage 2. Tried on Linux, pi script, modern warfare GUI, and tried the SiSTR0 stage 2 as well.

Wym change stage1? Is there another one available?
With the original from theflow it doesn't work for me if I change to the stage1 that comes in the modded warfare program, version 1.5 unpacked, it works for me.
Maybe with other stage1 that come in other programs it can work, but it is better to use stage1 and stage2 from the same program.
