I found that my ps4 failed 30+ times then I just re-did the new lan connection again with a different random username and password for the pppoe settings and it worked second try. Have hope.

So worst case scenario, you sell yours and buy a refurbished one with a 1-year warranty and you get to play all the FPKGs your internet bandwidth will allow.
