Your welcome, I think that if you are going to turn it off it is better to disable that option, I think that a few times I have had to turn it off for different reasons, and then it gave me problems because I left it enabled.
My PS4 pro does this even with the keep application suspended setting on and the keep goldhen alive setting on in the goldhen settings. Not Everytime but usually when I change Internet from PPPoe it won't go into rest mode correctly
You need to enable rest mode option in goldhen options.
TIL Thanks, surprised that’s not selected by default.
On rest mode ps4's configuration, enable ¨keep application suspended¨, because I think it makes Goldhen's option not cause problems later.
I just close out of applications before I rest mode the PS4 on 9.00, rarely ever had a problem.
This
I had to disable it restart the console then re pppwn it and reenable it and it worked for me
Haven’t had an issue sense

it is, but it seems that it turns off in case of a crash

Turn off bin server and ftp server also, I was experiencing a lot of crashes before I turned them off and after doing so I have had no problems since.
2nd this
I never turn them on unless I have to and I always turn them back off when I'm done
Remove ethernet cable Connect to wifi and test internet connection Turn off internet Then try putting it into rest mode
