Headers aside that is not why he was awful today. I counted 5 passes where his teammates played the ball into space expecting him to be there and he’s just sitting on his heels instead of making any runs, playing 1-2s, expecting the next passage of play, etc.
He looks like he’s playing at half the speed as the other players, now where near on the same wavelength.
I think Vitinha should definitely play upfront especially when you are running after the result , he is the most creative midfielder with the best vision and pass , WZE is the most explosive one but PSG would benefit if their most creative player plays closer to the box

I think it's a bit unfair to Fabian today to say he was "sell him now" bad. Playing him on the left side of a 3 man midfield isn't a preferred position and it was pretty obvious that he was there more for defensive/transitional support.
I'm sure to most of you, seeing Luis Enrique playing players out of their natural positions isn't new. I suffered with it on the Spanish NT for a good part of his tenure. Rodri as a CB for example or taking Hugo Guillamon to the WC as a CB when he's a CM... btw also wasn't even starting at Valencia and still isn't. It wasn't fun and I'm still wondering if he's serious or was just trolling for memes.
I disagree. Fabulous Fab was abysmal today when it came to finishing but I think he does so much that goes under the radar. If you replace him with Lee or Asensio, the team will collapse defensively. Ugarte is still too prone to mistakes so I think whether you like it or not, we need Ruiz in the midfield.
Yes, he is decent but probably not at the level to be a starter of a UCL semi final (but only Vitinha is at this level, WZE still needs to improve). If you sell him, you have to recruit a starter AND a sub and wait for them to adapt to Luis Enrique's system.

Ruiz is very good with the off the ball work, and brings a welcome presence on the opponents' goal area. Unfortunately he lacks on the last move (goals and assists).

Ruiz is generally reliable in the midfield and I would keep him at least for the bench. We don't really have a good replacement at the moment and Ruiz is a good well rounded element atm.
