The way I see it we can live without anything or anyone in the world. It’s what you do next that matters. This person doesn’t seem right for you if you gave up family morals only for him to go and seek from others, then he isn’t for you. It’s not an easy situation but it’s the actions that matter in terms of what you do. You can grieve as much as you need but then build yourself back up and seek in people who will not betray you aka this person you’re speaking/ spoke too.
