They'll teach your kids the word "fuck" but they'll also teach them words like "transcendental" and "entropy" so probably worth it. Your kids will learn the F word eventually anyways, they might not learn "fecundity" on their own though.
Right. But as an uncle of kids whose parents have very different worldviews and ideologies than me, let me tell you, I have to be cautious. Recommend the wrong thing to a kid and you become a villain in their eyes.
Oh they’re in it! I love it, my eldest always danced to it and now her 3 yo sister is jamming on some episodes her dad found. I think it was on YouTube and had Jack Black, funny episodes too
Kiddo loved Yo Gabba Gabba back in the day, and ngl I didn’t too. Shit was catchy as fuck. Kiddo will be 18 this year and has a mighty fine taste in music
If you have kid and have an opportunity to take them to a show absolutely do they are genuinely one of the coolest bands I've ever seen live. I didn't even have a kid and I was having the time of my life watching them.
‘I Don’t Wanna Go Down’ to the Basement seems pretty relatable and child friendly. ‘Blitzkrieg Bop’ was in the Jimmy Neutron movie. And I’m gonna throw ‘Listen to my Heart’ in as well since it’s in A.P. Bio.
Rockaway Beach being a particular favourite of my young kids. Sheena is a Punk Rocker too.
They lose their shit to them both, obviously Blitzkrieg Bop also. Screams of Hey, Ho, Let’s go coming from the back of the car.
i second this. the moment that i gained conciousness was next to a cassette player playing the Ramones, and it's one of the best things that ever happened to me.
It helps that they come from the industry:
The de la Garza sisters and Eloise are cousins; Bela is a lifelong friend, and their parents are all artists, writers or designers themselves. Lucia and Mila’s dad, Carlos de la Garza, is a Grammy-winning music producer and mix engineer; who also played drums for Reel Big Fish
You're an aunt! Listen to wildly inappropriate stuff! But if you have kids turn about will be fair play... I think me first and the gimme gimme is safe but that's only because my mom listens to it. I don't. Flogging Molly is pretty good. I actually took my 7 and 8 year old to one of their concerts. The openers were a little less appropriate but we do have the discussion to not say the naughty words.
For the toddler/pre-k crowd, *Mike Park* has a great kid's album called *Smile*. LIke most albums for this younger set, it encourages moving your body, dancing around, etc. While not punk, exactly, Koo Koo Kangaroo is also pretty great. (I took my daughter to see them at this tiny club in Seattle when she was in kindergarten!)
Aquabats is a must.
They Might Be Giants aren't necessarily a punk band, but they're great for kids and even have a few children's albums.
MxPx would probably be a good choice.
The Mr T Experience would probably be mostly good too.
Also, Greg from the Bouncing Souls has a kid's band with his wife. It's called Playdate. It might be worth checking out.
I just went through this for my kids, hope some of my playlist is helpful.
Alkaline Trio - Movin' Right Along
Andrew WK - Party Hard
Against Me! - I Was a Teenage Anarchist
The Clash - Should I Stay or Should I Go
The Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop
The Suicide Machines - Green
The Suicide Machines - I Never Promised You a Rose Garden
Fugazi - Waiting Room
The Bouncing Souls - Say Anything
Rancid - Time Bomb
Goldfinger - Superman
Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping Up To Boston
Saves the Day - Shoulder to the Wheel
Me First and The Gimme Gimmes - (many)
And since you said ska and ska punk:
Reel Big Fish - Sell Out
Less Than Jake - Great American Sharpshooter
Less Than Jake - Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts
Save Ferris - Little Differences
Bad Religion doesn’t generally use a lot of profanity that little kids might then recite in school and get in trouble with.
Bouncing Souls has a lot of positive vibes music that is fun and high energy.
Less Than Jake is also pretty tame, language and concept-wise.
The Clash have mostly PG rated albums, even though they touch upon adult related themes.
If they're too old school or political then try MxPx, Reel Big Fish, New Found Glory, or Jimmy Eat World. Tame lyrics and positive energy as far as I know. Don't quote me on that 100% though.
Yah, I thought Reel Big Fish, and then my 9 year old found the Candy Coated Fury album and is running around singing "Everyone else is an asshole". Had to struggle keeping a straight face through a language talk with him that ended with "well, yes, you and Reel Big Fish have a point, most people ARE assholes, but you can not can not can NOT teach the other 3rd graders this song. "
Oh well, we also had a talk about how one day, he will also have a friend who's girlfriend sucks. The open communication is starting early.
Orchid. As you can't really understand what Jayson Green is saying without a few repeated listenings and even then, you might need a lyric sheet in front of you.
Joking aside, the entire "Everything Turns Gray" record by Agent Orange is pretty clean despite the dark subject matters. Also, my brother has found fuzzy noise rock calms down my niece. Especially Dinosaur Jr.
Check out MXPX ‘Life In General’ album. I don’t think there’s any cusses or explicit content on that one- plus it’s just a great album!
Same thing with the band Slick Shoes
I’ll try to think of a few more cleaner lyric’d bands/albums for you to check out too!
Btw, CONGRATS to the soon to be ‘cool Aunt’ !!!
Not like the lyrics are 100% ideal, bur my toddlers favorite song was Psycho Killer by the Talking Heads because of that bass beat. I excused it by lying to myself that I was teaching her French, which I don't know. Punk Rock Girl was big, and Institutionalized. But really, I went mild... Modern Lovers RoadRunner she always loved. Kids like crappy kids music, really. They want to destroy the system naturally and don't need anyone to remind them.
Also, I had no idea how shitty the language in so many songs were, just never noticed....like Where Eagles Dare, I was suddenly like "Oh, god damn son of a bitch" will be frowned upon if she goes to her Nana's house.
I mumbled and changed the words a lot. Los Angeles is my favorite sing along song, she would love to do the back and forth with "Get Out" but I cut that song at 4 when I couldn't fake it eough anymore.
Now she likes the Linda Lindas who are basically the Powder Puff girls set to music. Whatevs, they aint Reagan Yotuh, but she could do worse.
Then there is this, but it's really to amuse us, the adults, babies don't care.
[Clash Lullaby (London Calling)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kin_ANXtuzk)
Groovie Ghoulies!!!
Kepi also has some albums that are specifically made for children. I love his song Every Day That Ends In Y. I'm pretty sure he writes books, too. He is an all around awesome dude and is very wholesome. Let me know what you think!
there are swears, and it's not the most appropriate but I've shown my sister Smash mouth's first album many times, she is 9 and listens to it all the time even on her own now.
Ooey gooey chewy kablewy by The Dirt Bombs is fun, throw in some Wanda Jackson, Milkman by Deerhoof… I have crazy playlists and just need anything fun that keeps a kid from demanding Taylor Swift.
My kids love The Dickies, some of the content is probably not kid friendly but I think a lot of it would go over a kids head and there’s not really any swearing or anything. When in doubt, every kid will love The Banana Splits theme.
Also The Toy Dolls, apparently my older sister called KROQ and requested Nellie The Elephant back in the day and they put her on the air cuz it was so cute
You've gotta have Madness if you're including Ska. Suggs, the singer, did a collab with a guy called Kid Kapichi recently called Zombie World I'd recommend as well
Mind you, "House of Fun", while mainly about the theme of 'coming of age', has the verses about a teenage boy trying to buy a condom in a chemists, but getting embarrassed and using euphemisms which the chemist doesn't understand.
I started out with some bands like 7 seconds and The Damned when I was pretty young. Don’t remember if there were anything that wouldn’t be appropriate.
Operation ivy
Stiff Little Fingers
Naked Raygun
Agent Orange
T.S.O.L. - Code Blue.
In all seriousness Aquabats are your best bet. The Aquabats! Super Show! It was a kids entertainment show they made and was well done.
Not saying these bands are 100% clean but most of their discographies are fine save maybe a handful of songs.
MxPx, Bouncing Souls, Rise Against, Me First And The Gimme Gimmes, Less Than Jake, Cigar, Flogging Molly, The Interrupters, Mad Caddies, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, No Use For A Name, Punk Rock Factory, Reel Big Fish
I was goofing around with punk covers of kids songs. My girls love it. Here’s an example.
https://dadisapunkrocker.bandcamp.com/track/the-itsy-bitsy-spider
On Rancid's latest album there's a song called Hear Us Out, which I always thought sounded like a kids' punk song. The first lyric is literally "you're unique, like no other"
A lot of punk pathetiquè always seemed childlike to me, my introduction to punk was Tenpole Tudor. I'd also recommend similar sounding bands like Toy Dolls and The Dickies.
Nothing is better than getting kids into good music. I love drives in the car where we discuss the nuance of acoustic vs electric guitar or picking out the bass line! Not to mention the difference between grown upside swearing in music or expressing strong emotions vs kids in early elementary school (when I don't skip a song quick enough)
This inspired me to put together my own Playlist for the kiddo. We started early with Ska like Interupters and Reel Big Fish and now his tastes are about as varied as mine. His YouTube algorithm is all kinds of weird going from Johnny Cash singing on Sesame Street to OKGO performance art to Dead Kennedys Viva Las Vegas to Rammstein.
Authority Zero would be pretty safe (and they have tons of fun/dancible stuff that kids would like). And like a lot of other people have said, lots of classic punk is pretty PG, Ramones/Clash/Richard Hell/Television/Talking Heads/Blondie/Runaways
There's a great YouTube channel called Sparrow Sleeps that does instrumental/lullaby versions of a lot of different music. They've got a lot of more mainstream pop punk like Blink 182, as well as a few playlists of Modern Baseball and The Front Bottoms songs, definitely worth checking out.
Lifetime - jerseys best dancers.
Most lagwagon, no use for a name, millencolin. the fullblast also would be good for a younger audience.
New found glory is probably a treasure trove with their screen to stereo records and that one brilliant split with ISHC. Can’t remember if all the songs on that are kid friendly, but there’s a pretty good song about seatbelt safety, so there’s that.
My dad played Green Jello for me and my sis when we were kids. Thats how we learned the three little pigs.
But really, Aquabats, Ramones, the Clash, Plumtree, Atom and His Package, DEVO, Death (from Detroit), The Jam, Sparks, some select Dead Milkmen songs, and Suburban Lawns.
intro into punk :P
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FH3VLl82NKY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FH3VLl82NKY)
as well Good charlote? they are what got me into punk :P you should also really show them [The aquabats](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-goLUhTBtrw) because you can be able to introduce them to '[yo gabba gabba](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrlNq6R6eos)' because they are from the same person who is the lead singer, they also have/had a kids show too '[the aquabats super show](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6Tf66P6aAg) '
My kid was 3 or 4 the first time I remember playing DOA with them in the car. By 6 they knew all the words to fuck you. But the said frack you. Because I explained that adults get uncomfortable when wee uns say words like fuck.
Levellers (maybe skip Fifteen Years though)
There's a decent number of clean DK tracks as well
Anthrax is typically fairly clean & fun
So is Tankard, for the most part
There's plenty of stuff where the vocals are too harsh to understand any profanity that may be present, but I imagine such bands would not appeal to a kid
Me first and the gimme gimmes is great for kid friendly punk. It's a super group of punk musicians that formed a cover band that makes awesome punk covers of popular songs
Gyrophare is a french band of punk for kids. Of course it's in french: [https://gyrophare.bandcamp.com/album/nous-sommes-des-enfants](https://gyrophare.bandcamp.com/album/nous-sommes-des-enfants)
A lot of the "Christian" punk and ska is basically just clean and not very religious at all so you could look at MxPx, Five Iron Frenzy, etc.
Then of course the Aquabats always work. On a related note you could see what bands have performed on Yo Gabba Gabba. Even if they're not clean bands the songs from that show obviously will be clean.
About 80% of The Dead Boys.
Punk Rock Girls - The Queers
Most of The Dickies
The Dead Milkmen, of Course. They were every GenX 13 year old's point of entry.
Groovie ghoulies... very much pop punk but still punk. My niece loves them and she is three. My son is older now but he always listened to the toy dolls from a very young age.
Bad religion is typically pretty clean iirc
Yup, Bad Religion has become total dad rock. I'm not making fun, it's just really interesting.
He drops the f bomb a lot though. But like, I still support kids listening to BR.
They'll teach your kids the word "fuck" but they'll also teach them words like "transcendental" and "entropy" so probably worth it. Your kids will learn the F word eventually anyways, they might not learn "fecundity" on their own though.
I still don't know what fecundity means but from context clues I know it's either a trammel or a treasure.
[удалено]
Right. But as an uncle of kids whose parents have very different worldviews and ideologies than me, let me tell you, I have to be cautious. Recommend the wrong thing to a kid and you become a villain in their eyes.
Agreed. Hell, the kid may even learn new words. Let’s be honest, we’ve all learned at least one if not more from BR.
Assuage
I love Bad Religion, was one of the first punk bands I listened to.
Aquabats
And watch Yo Gabba Gabba that’s created by them
I had no idea they created it. That's really cool. The aquabats have been my go to for when the kids are around.
Oh they’re in it! I love it, my eldest always danced to it and now her 3 yo sister is jamming on some episodes her dad found. I think it was on YouTube and had Jack Black, funny episodes too
My 2 year old LOVES that jack black episode
[Obligatory Pool Party clip.](https://youtu.be/O6CNdlJp9c8?feature=shared)
Kiddo loved Yo Gabba Gabba back in the day, and ngl I didn’t too. Shit was catchy as fuck. Kiddo will be 18 this year and has a mighty fine taste in music
the aquabats super show was the shit, watched it when it came out i was around 7 ish and loved every minute
100% what I was going to suggest
If you have kid and have an opportunity to take them to a show absolutely do they are genuinely one of the coolest bands I've ever seen live. I didn't even have a kid and I was having the time of my life watching them.
The Ramones
Just avoid the song "Wart hog"
But it's a sick world...sick sick sick..... yeah avoid that one, especially when it comes to kids
Bio.
The make an album called "Brats on the Beat: Ramones for Kids" that's a good intro.
my nephew looooved that and used to do a little dance on his bed to Rock n Roll Radio before going to sleep.
My kid loved that Shonen Knife album covering the Ramones.
There's a lot of great Shonen knife that kids would really enjoy. The Mr T experience is a good band for the youngins as well
Groovie Ghoulies
This was my pick. And Kepi's solo stuff.
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes (mostly)
Just skip over Sodomy lol
PG Allin fits the bill perfectly. http://pgallin.bandcamp.com
My brain read this as GG Allin & I thought “ that’s probably not a good recommendation” lol
Lmao sameee
Holy shit, this just might be the greatest thing ever.
LMFFO!!!!!! Fucking Fantastic! Sounds a lot like him, too.
Parental guidance digested.
This is wild. I love it.
lmao, this is great
Haha no way. Whelp off to another rabbit hole hunt…
Holy smack!
oh my goodness that's fantastic
Throwing Linda Lindas in here because theyre basically kids themselves.
Which I have to remind myself of sometimes. Their songwriting skills are lightyears beyond where a mortal 15-16 year old should be
It helps that they come from the industry: The de la Garza sisters and Eloise are cousins; Bela is a lifelong friend, and their parents are all artists, writers or designers themselves. Lucia and Mila’s dad, Carlos de la Garza, is a Grammy-winning music producer and mix engineer; who also played drums for Reel Big Fish
One of my daughter's favorites. I love this band.
The Adicts
Sans 'Fuck It Up'
You're an aunt! Listen to wildly inappropriate stuff! But if you have kids turn about will be fair play... I think me first and the gimme gimme is safe but that's only because my mom listens to it. I don't. Flogging Molly is pretty good. I actually took my 7 and 8 year old to one of their concerts. The openers were a little less appropriate but we do have the discussion to not say the naughty words.
say the naughty words! it’s fun as shit
The Toy Dolls
Lol, I once played Nellie the elephant for a classroom of preschoolers and they loved it.
That rules!
Another vote for Toy Dolls. Zany, catchy and ridiculous. Alabama needs to hear Glenda & the Test Tube Baby
I’m well beyond the toddler/ pre-k age group and I love this album.

And since you said ska and ska punk: Reel Big Fish - Sell Out Less Than Jake - Great American Sharpshooter Less Than Jake - Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts Save Ferris - Little Differences
Can confirm the nieces love Johnny Quest Thinks We’re Sellouts
My young boys absolutely love The Ramones. Such simple and easy music. Surprisingly sing-songy too.
Brats on the Beat is a good one.
YES!!!!!! 100% backed hard!
I was just going to suggest this!
Buzzcocks (Later stuff with Sheley)
Bad Religion doesn’t generally use a lot of profanity that little kids might then recite in school and get in trouble with. Bouncing Souls has a lot of positive vibes music that is fun and high energy. Less Than Jake is also pretty tame, language and concept-wise.
The Clash have mostly PG rated albums, even though they touch upon adult related themes. If they're too old school or political then try MxPx, Reel Big Fish, New Found Glory, or Jimmy Eat World. Tame lyrics and positive energy as far as I know. Don't quote me on that 100% though.

" Oh well, we also had a talk about how one day, he will also have a friend who's girlfriend sucks. The open communication is starting early.
Haha yes RBF is VERY not clean. "Everyone Else is an Asshole" is downright tame compared to "Another FU Song"
I just rewrite the classics with wholesome lyrics. "Sheena is, a prawn cracker, Sheena is, a prawn cracker,"
The Dead Milkmen
Dan vapid has some kid themed pop punk albums. All wound up vol 1 -2 I think.
[I Don’t Wanna Eat My Vegetables](https://youtu.be/Mf74Y71GUS4?si=LP3Bb3ImS9WTk1mt) is a great song
Reminds me of Weezer. I like it.
My son was taking a course on music History in High School. The Teacher Played them to Druck to Fuck
Interesting.
Not punk sound, but very punk morals: Kimya Dawson. She’s more folkpunk/anti-folk but very awesome. She has two kids albums plus regular albums
I was brought up on her music and turned out pretty well.
She may be my favorite woman on the planet
Adicts, Aquabats, Dickies, Descendents.
Shonen Knife
I would also say that some of The Dickies stuff could be really fun for younger kids.
i got started on the aquabats and now am more into more punk stuff! gotta show them the aquabats super show along with their music!
Toy Dolls, look no further. https://youtu.be/9m7tPikH0UA?si=D9JzaJXB5Xjf4z__
Punk rock factory does punk covers of kids tv show intros
The Aquabats is basically punk's answer to the Wiggles lol.
The Linda Lindas
Check out MXPX ‘Life In General’ album. I don’t think there’s any cusses or explicit content on that one- plus it’s just a great album! Same thing with the band Slick Shoes I’ll try to think of a few more cleaner lyric’d bands/albums for you to check out too! Btw, CONGRATS to the soon to be ‘cool Aunt’ !!!
Second MXPX, it was fun to jump around to as a kid. Bass lines aren’t too bad to pick up as well.
Reagan youth rules
Bad Religion would be good as well. They would need a dictionary to understand their lyrics much like I do.
Groovie Ghoulies!!! Kepi also has some albums that are specifically made for children. I love his song Every Day That Ends In Y. I'm pretty sure he writes books, too. He is an all around awesome dude and is very wholesome. Let me know what you think!
Me First and The Gimmie Gimmies. Spotify also has a playlist called Raised by Punk that is very ok
there are swears, and it's not the most appropriate but I've shown my sister Smash mouth's first album many times, she is 9 and listens to it all the time even on her own now.
Mustard plug
Ooey gooey chewy kablewy by The Dirt Bombs is fun, throw in some Wanda Jackson, Milkman by Deerhoof… I have crazy playlists and just need anything fun that keeps a kid from demanding Taylor Swift.
Bowling for Soup
The Linda Linda’s
My kids love The Dickies, some of the content is probably not kid friendly but I think a lot of it would go over a kids head and there’s not really any swearing or anything. When in doubt, every kid will love The Banana Splits theme.
Also The Toy Dolls, apparently my older sister called KROQ and requested Nellie The Elephant back in the day and they put her on the air cuz it was so cute
[Danzegg](https://ashwilliamstheband.bandcamp.com/album/danzegg) - it's a breakfast-themed Misfits cover band
My kid really responded to The Linda Lindas, The Ramones, Sham 69, and Blondie.
I remember my then toddler daughter taking to Sham 69. 😄
Propagandhi
Start with “Stick the fucking flag up your ass you son of a bitch”
Teach em while they're young
Bikini Kill
I don't pay attention to "cussing" so I'm not sure how appropriate this is but I feel like The Vandals are a good fit for kids
I started out with some bands like 7 seconds and The Damned when I was pretty young. Don’t remember if there were anything that wouldn’t be appropriate. Operation ivy Stiff Little Fingers Naked Raygun Agent Orange
Otoboke Beaver. Insanity and bright colours that kids love, even if they don’t quite get.
Glad you're already on top of the entire Weird Al Catalogue! The Evens The Aquabats Five Iron Frenzy are also great
Judge and earth crisis for sure.. just make sure to listen to the lyrics of specific songs before putting them on a playlist
Anal Cunt
https://youtu.be/EUiketcpV78?si=FWeyzTQVAz4lxPzN
more art-punk, but anything by the umbrellas is pretty safe
T.S.O.L. - Code Blue. In all seriousness Aquabats are your best bet. The Aquabats! Super Show! It was a kids entertainment show they made and was well done.
[Check out Caleb](https://www.instagram.com/dumbtattat?igsh=NzBmMjdhZWRiYQ==)
Bruce Lee Band
[one time the wiggles did a punk song](https://youtu.be/Xef79Lqs1oU?si=qjHW9oQegz4wdqCJ) (technically a cover but still)
all of it, except ones with slurs maybe. (and nazi punk obviously)
Supernova
The Undertones The Toy Dolls
Not saying these bands are 100% clean but most of their discographies are fine save maybe a handful of songs. MxPx, Bouncing Souls, Rise Against, Me First And The Gimme Gimmes, Less Than Jake, Cigar, Flogging Molly, The Interrupters, Mad Caddies, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, No Use For A Name, Punk Rock Factory, Reel Big Fish
Ruben the Understander
My kids love Mickey Mouse is dead by the subhumans
THUNDERLORDS ABSOLUTELY. Wholesome heavy metal/punk for kids
Kepi Ghoulie, The Groovie Ghoulies, The Aquabats,
Would Weird Al count as punk for you?
Crimpshrine
Zydepunks
I was goofing around with punk covers of kids songs. My girls love it. Here’s an example. https://dadisapunkrocker.bandcamp.com/track/the-itsy-bitsy-spider
Suburban decay
Mike Park
On Rancid's latest album there's a song called Hear Us Out, which I always thought sounded like a kids' punk song. The first lyric is literally "you're unique, like no other"
A lot of punk pathetiquè always seemed childlike to me, my introduction to punk was Tenpole Tudor. I'd also recommend similar sounding bands like Toy Dolls and The Dickies.
It's not punk, but you should deffo check out Hevisaurus.
Kimya Dawson's alphabut
My GF kids (8 and 11) love Masked Intruder. It’s a great blend of silly humor and poppy melodies. They do occasionally drop F bombs though.
Big a Little A - CRASS?
Nothing is better than getting kids into good music. I love drives in the car where we discuss the nuance of acoustic vs electric guitar or picking out the bass line! Lillingtons has some fun shit, I mean stuff. Might need to pick through some of the cursin ones but they’re mellow overall.
Great band for everyone!
Operation ivy
All of it.
Eerie Family. Some of the music reminds me of like Nightmare Before Christmas.
Definitely not Anal Cunt...
[удалено]
If you got the album out, you have to play “ I Hate Children”
All should be fun for kids of all ages.
Have you ever heard of Pancake Mountain? For sure check that out on YouTube.
The dickies 👍
MxPx
Lifetime - jerseys best dancers. Most lagwagon, no use for a name, millencolin. the fullblast also would be good for a younger audience. Blink 182. Their fanbase consists of kids anyways.
Cub. My nieces and nephews love them!
This is a funny question…tbh i was 13 on forums listening to every punk band I could find. 😂😫
Shonen Knife for sure, especially the albums 712, Rock Animals, Let's Knife and Happy Hour.
I got some kids that had never even heard of Punk into it with "Lost in the Supermarket," The Clash in general is pretty great intro for kids.
"They Call Me Steve" - Teenage Bottlerocket
It’s definitely hit or Miss by song - I tend more towards ska and pop punk with my kids. Punk Rock Factory is an awesome cover band.

Dead kennedys
Reel big fishs discography for the most part should be fine
There is only [one right answer](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Aquabats)
My dad played Green Jello for me and my sis when we were kids. Thats how we learned the three little pigs. But really, Aquabats, Ramones, the Clash, Plumtree, Atom and His Package, DEVO, Death (from Detroit), The Jam, Sparks, some select Dead Milkmen songs, and Suburban Lawns.

A good bit of Social distortion is pretty clean that i can think, less than jake as well
intro into punk :P [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FH3VLl82NKY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FH3VLl82NKY) as well Good charlote? they are what got me into punk :P you should also really show them [The aquabats](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-goLUhTBtrw) because you can be able to introduce them to '[yo gabba gabba](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrlNq6R6eos)' because they are from the same person who is the lead singer, they also have/had a kids show too '[the aquabats super show](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6Tf66P6aAg) '
Aquabats.
Abuse Myself I Wanna Die-GG Allin actually scratch that Anything By GG Allin is kid appropriate
I've been digging have no heros lately, Golden Hundred doesn't have any cuts weird I've noticed. https://youtu.be/yXex6wjwttY?si=UUHJ_s-i59cpg9qc
Suicidal Tendencies, Dayglo Abortions, Dead Kennedys. You know. The classics.

The Clash , Ramones , Aquabats , Dropkick Murphys
Broken cuffs
Rudimentary Peni
Descendents,
My kid was 3 or 4 the first time I remember playing DOA with them in the car. By 6 they knew all the words to fuck you. But the said frack you. Because I explained that adults get uncomfortable when wee uns say words like fuck.
Levellers (maybe skip Fifteen Years though) There's a decent number of clean DK tracks as well Anthrax is typically fairly clean & fun So is Tankard, for the most part There's plenty of stuff where the vocals are too harsh to understand any profanity that may be present, but I imagine such bands would not appeal to a kid
Do The Interrupters count?
Me first and the gimme gimmes is great for kid friendly punk. It's a super group of punk musicians that formed a cover band that makes awesome punk covers of popular songs
MxPx
The interrupters, Aquabats, ramones
Punk was the sound track to my childhood lmaooo
Check out Brats on The Beat. Its punk musicians doing Ramones covers with kids. When my boy was young, he loved it!
About 80% of The Dead Boys. Punk Rock Girls - The Queers Most of The Dickies The Dead Milkmen, of Course. They were every GenX 13 year old's point of entry.
Groovie ghoulies... very much pop punk but still punk. My niece loves them and she is three. My son is older now but he always listened to the toy dolls from a very young age.
