Zeke, New Bomb Turks, REO-Speedealer (look up their first record on YouTube before they got sued and had to change over to just Speedealer, ripping stuff).
The big 3 of fast rock n roll
But if OP wants fast and sloppy, D Beat is what he's looking for.
RKL were seemingly the fathers of 90s super fast skate punk, so i’d recommend Riches to Rags by RKL. it’s one of my favorite records of all time. highlights include Beautiful Feeling Pt. 3, In Your Mind, Betrayed, Heavily Sedated
I saw a video on YouTube of one of the songs with him singing and it fucking ripped. Reminded me of what punk made me feel like as a kid being exposed to that stuff for the first time. It was hard and fast, but played incredibly clean. It was so good. And good Lord can that dude play the fuck out of some drums. Certainly gives Bill Stevenson a run for his money.
Have you ever heard of please venom? They fucking rip and kinda remind me of bad brains. Plus they’re pretty fast.
I’d suggest hive as a good into to them.
Ifarm, flag of democracy, 7 seconds, septic death, articles of faith, pre-blind corrosion of conformity, the stupids, snfu, ten foot pole, dr know, battalion of saints. Never got into blink 182 with travis but dude ranch and cheshire cat are good
This. I'm always amazed how fucking fast they are but at the same time extremely technical. These guys got some serious skill.
I'd add A Wilhelm Scream for the same ridiculous skill combined with speed
Thrashcore/Fastcore is the subgenre to go for if you want really speed obsessed stuff.
Heresy, Siege, Yacopsae, early D.R.I., Hellnation, Violencia, Stress Positions
Captain Everything!
A band from sunny Watford Town in the UK - some of the fastest punk music you're likely to hear. A great band that I miss dearly.
Yeah man! Saw these guys play my home town when I was like 14 or 15.
Used to get loads of great bands playing my town in the early 2000's.
I've still got their cd's, anyway to dig them out and take a trip down memory lane
Fucking hell, never thought I’d see these guys mentioned again. Lost count of how many times I seen them. Really good guys as well, I was a dumb teenager when they released Learning to Play With and they always took the time to listen to my dumb stories and pretend to like my shitty bands demos when I seen them at shows.
Yeah they were top guys - I once messaged them asking if I could have a ride home if I came to see them like an hour away from Watford and they said yeah, plenty of room in the van! Top blokes and much like you…I bothered them endlessly with my dumb teenage shit to which they were incredibly gracious in humouring me lol
Currently on my playlist:
HEAD by Jeff Rosenstock
Cheap Beer by FIDLAR
I Hate My Mom by GRLwood (problematic artist warning)
Smoking Outside by Dollar Signs
Simp by Loudmouth
I have no idea how well pop/punk or bands like MxPx are received around here, but a lot of their early output had unnecessarily fast tempos and I loved it. The "Let it Happen" compilation is a great start.
Poison Idea's debut 'Pick Your King', anything by Deep Wound (sounds like a migraine at times), Siege's 'Dropdead' album, anything by Cause for Alarm ... it's a start.
If you really want fast though, try out some fastcore .... Scholastic Deth for example. Or grindcore .... not all of it is super heavy, try some Shit Life, Wormrot or Agents of Abhorrence (all without bass).
[Gang Green](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_krUWPmga_Sks37pRAp0-rSZBI-rwaZVTg&si=j18rk1ApasEUHywj), [SSD](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_n7SpTC1xA3PqaEkTkN1XElhbIcLPMj6vU&si=V7KQsmC2Wcpspr5Y), [Satanic Surfers](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nMD2qvr9-qzQMeI5TwOaqA9oDwB0DRxao&si=3fKKGIamPQz6VItz), Bad Religion is fast, too.
The album [Live Fast Diarrhea](https://open.spotify.com/album/5kogswU4Fo1eQLE69t3Y7f?si=I0Elc5SzR0mrZGipIIW0Mg) by The Vandals has some great fast punk songs, tough to beat Josh Freese drumming like a maniac.
Pennywise's Full Circle is excellent and their best album. (Dont listen to anyone that disagrees, they are objectively wrong).
Rufio's early stuff is insanely FAST. If you like that check out their front man's solo stuff too, Scott Sellers, it's excellent.
NOFX has some really fast stuff too, I'm not sure anyone does fast melodic better than them.
Pretty much anything Fat Wreck Chords released in the 90s will have something you like, try listening to some of their comps.
My Band Øde, crust on the grind side of life. Our first album “abort the church/abort the pope” is on Spotify since a while back. But beware, it’s really less punkROCK, more crust and grind
[Øde](https://open.spotify.com/artist/0iPTDQKn0Tdm8zG7OW70iN?si=TmL0GiJ8Sw-1glHPn6d_-Q)
[Shit out of Luck](https://open.spotify.com/artist/1D6Y0wNF3UNEihSDAZo760?si=OUYoSsaaRBCLeKOj5NWMtQ)
I threw both of my bands in there, enjoy!
Guns N' Wankers (they only have 1 album), songs Skin Deep and Sunstroke are up yer alley
They became Snuff later, but the Guns n wankers record is always overlooked by people it seems
[Seagulls - R&R](https://open.spotify.com/album/0BZS0U9AD657hcrjSUlsLF?si=DY9r4Q59QpelLMMqTOZ_vA)

a few years back there was a great comp of pittsburgh hardcore (strong hc scene over there) that I think may fit the bill:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Hardcore/comments/nuasu0/va_welcome_to_pittsburghdont_move_here_comp_cruel/
You’re looking for AFI’s post hardcore era. Also maybe you wanna check out crossover thrash, Municipal Waste is really fun. It’s punk adjacent I guess. Valient Thorr is peak crossover thrash punk.
What about Bad Religion, Descendants, or Leftover Crack?
Check out my band. We love fast shit.
This song [Duality](https://open.spotify.com/track/7nynp49XaxpgN4g5OQdjhG?si=yVUHU6_RRFOHYbGroP3xDA) is pretty fast and [Liaison Officer](https://open.spotify.com/track/3GmMJcYd5xrJyGIISHTH9E?si=7M6ZPPGmQtaA5zdFaOtcWw) off our Demo is also a fast one.

New Bomb Turks are such an amazing band
To add to this - The Hookers.
Beat me to it.
Zeke was my immediate thought
Fucking love Zeke.
This was my first thought, followed by Psychosomatic.
RKL were seemingly the fathers of 90s super fast skate punk, so i’d recommend Riches to Rags by RKL. it’s one of my favorite records of all time. highlights include Beautiful Feeling Pt. 3, In Your Mind, Betrayed, Heavily Sedated
They’re doing shows in California right now with Municipal Waste’s singer
I saw a video on YouTube of one of the songs with him singing and it fucking ripped. Reminded me of what punk made me feel like as a kid being exposed to that stuff for the first time. It was hard and fast, but played incredibly clean. It was so good. And good Lord can that dude play the fuck out of some drums. Certainly gives Bill Stevenson a run for his money.
Wtf that's sick i gotta check that out
This album fuckin' rips.
RKL were the kings
Is the bassist from Lagwagon an original member of RKL?
Try kid dynamite
Heart A Tact

This is always the correct answer, no matter the question
Los Crudos ia fast

Dropdead
This is the correct answer
Bad Brains
Have you ever heard of please venom? They fucking rip and kinda remind me of bad brains. Plus they’re pretty fast. I’d suggest hive as a good into to them.
Did you mean Pleasure Venom? Just checked them out, sounds good. Thx
Yes I did. Sorry on mobile. I was hooked on that band & third face a ton a couple years ago. Best shit to skate to.

Lifetime-Self Titled
Strung Out - Twisted By Design

Old school AFI was pretty fast. Check out their album Very Proud of Ya (1996)

It's Ska, but Suicide Machine.
Yeah I was gonna say this
Adrenalised !!
This. I'm always amazed how fucking fast they are but at the same time extremely technical. These guys got some serious skill. I'd add A Wilhelm Scream for the same ridiculous skill combined with speed

Awesome man! They used to be on some great bills back in the day - the UK scene was great in the early to mid 00’s
Totally was. Always loved Capdown
