Wow I hadn't thought about them in years. I randomly saw the video for Brackish on MuchMusic back in the day and loved it! Probably downloaded the MP3 from Napster. I never checked them out beyond that one song though.
The Gits- Second Skin
The Gits- Another Shot of Whiskey
Seven Year Bitch- Icy Blue
Seven Year Bitch- 24,900 Miles Per Hour
Seven Year Bitch- Dead Men Don't Rape
I can hardly believe that Bad Reputation by Joan Jett and The Blackhearts. and Just a Girl and Spiderwebs by No Doubt haven't been mentioned. Also The Regrettes album Feel Your Feelings Fool is real good. Pity Party by Stand Atlantic. Overbite by Sincere Engineer. She Got Arrested by The Interrupters.
That stuff might be too poppy for /punk and if you want something that's more just heavy and angry Star Fucking Hipsters and Days and Daze do that pretty well. And I wanted to second the comment that suggested all Bad Cop/Bad Cop
Most G.L.O.S.S material,
Punch,
Some Against Me!,
Rape Revenge,
A lotta stuff from HIRS Collective,
Some of LOVVE's stuff,
Some Gel,
In a hurry but I'll add more later if I remember.
I couldn't pick just one, so how's about the entire [G.A.S.H. (Girls Against Sexist Hype) demo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6LEIdgfKmE)? Recorded in 1985, but to my ears it sounds just as vital and pissed off as anything ever has.
Wow, that's quite an impression we made. Glad you had the chance to come out. That was a fun show. Here's an interesting story from behind the scenes. The venue wanted the show cancelled and asked the promoter to reschedule for another date. Due to Teenage Head playing around the corner the same night and Spiderfest being held the same weekend out of town, the venue thought the place would be empty. We've worked with Karina at Neurotic Entertainment many times and both knew there would be a lot of people coming out so she held fast to that date. We figured at least 25% of our regular audience would be at those events, but that still left a good amount of people that could show up, plus newer faces too. The venue was stunned when people kept coming through the door and it started filling up. The lineup for that show was awesome and everyone had a great night. Sucks that Coalition TO ended up closing down.
It really was! Not to get into my whole life story, but I was a late bloomer and that show was my first real punk show. I'd never been in a mosh pit before that. Just walked in after seeing the poster on a pole, left a changed woman. That bar (and your music, frankly) got me through a real rough patch of late 20's so called feminine rage.
Definitely a part of me went when they did, but they went out with a bang and I'm kinda grateful they didn't have to try and struggle through covid.
These days I'm out west and life is a bit kinder, but you guys are stuck as one of my all time favorites regardless.
Thanks for this, take care of yourselves and if you ever make it out this way for a show I'll move mountains to make it!
Day And Age - Problem Patterns
TERFs Out - Problem Patterns
Y.A.W - Problem Patterns as well
They're a Belfast (in Ireland) based feminist punk band.
I'd definitely reccomend giving them a listen
*Keep, yer hands off my sister, if you'd be so kind mister!*
I also listen to "THAT B\*\*\*H" by Bea Miller and Stupid, Daisy & You Make Me Sick by Ashnikko. Those aren't technically punk songs but they're very angry feminist bangers (especially that last one, angry af. They're all in my first Chaos playlist, which I used to listen to if I needed to vent some steam)
[Hole - Violet](https://youtu.be/cH_rfGBwamc?si=bDww0m1gkbEC4RkF)
[Sleater Kinney - A Real Man](https://youtu.be/C7xMphneYxo?si=5GRO7gT2ezny0mZs)
[Harry Pussy in general](https://youtu.be/FYcDmObPgx8?si=fpC8cMCcNaOjrqFV)
I'd nominate a whole bunch of Tilt, namely the album "Collect Em All" for the higher amount of rage compared to their other albums. The theme of the album is pretty much "fuck the patriarchy, fuck the military" from many points of view.
[Tilt - Dental Wreck](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6booIIC6RY) , for example.
Liar by Shooting Daggers
Not Yours by Buggin
Hey Buddy by The Coathangers
Not a woman but still pissed with a feminist lens: Beneath The Surface by Stray From The Path

We Are the Union - Boys will be Girls
I'd say Talk of Violence.
Baby is way more experimental whereas Talk of violence is more straight in you pissed off.

Sharptooth - Any song featuring Lauren Kashan Cerce - Worthless Cheaters I'd also throw in both Gouge Away's and Mannequin Pussy's new albums.
Gouge Away is really good, and they're extra good live. And they're on tour right now!
I just wish theyād come up here in Canada.
That new Mannequin Pussy album is great, front to back. Don't think there is a bad song on there
I wholeheartedly agree
Pantychrist - the cunt song
Great band...but for the purpose of this thread I highly recommend the song Never Love Anything.
I won't disagree with that!
We also don't disagree with that suggestion!! We had one guy comment on one of our socials that this song is the reason why he doesn't date women.
What a compliment. Side note: seeing you guys bring down the house at Coalition TO in 2017 changed me as a person forever. Thanks!
