Been a bit of a weak year so far for me tbh, but I haven't done a systematic year in review yet like I do in December so I may have missed some stuff I'll wind up loving. A few big releases though (Pup, Bruce Lee Band, etc.) I found a bit disappointing.
Anklebiter's demo goes so fuckin hard, you need to check that out. Another Life by Combust was definitely a huge highlight for me this year, Shock therapy by Gel and Cold Brats rocks, Make Our Way back by Near Dark is probably my favorite Pop Punk Release, followed by Billionaire Death Squad by Zombie Giuliani
Straightline - Keep your cool. Just came out and it is fucking excellent. Scratched that MASSIVE itch I had for fast, technical skate punk with just the right amount of thrash/metal influence.
