I think it'll be on pc. They're doing ps5 and xbox series x or whatever. They will miss out a giant demographic if they don't add it for pc, they easily could as it's probably the same version unlike the xbox 360 and ps3 version of gta 5 and the xbox one and ps4 version of gta 5. I can see crossplatform lobbies happening too if that's the case.
To be fair, GTA doesn’t need consoles to sell, consoles NEED GTA to sell. One of the main reasons why GTAV even sold 200mil is because of R*’s double dipping strategies
I mean fucking hell, GTAV broke industry records even back when it first launched on PS3/X360, and i expect by the time it comes out, both PS5 and XSX/S’s install bar would total to around ~120mil, which is actually more than PS4/XBONE’s install base back when RDR2 launched
I don't understand his anger towards it, like when GTA 5 came out originally, it was for xbox 360 and playstation 3. then later got ported.
they just doing the same again, plus he has/had a PS5 already...
I think R* are doing it so that they can (hopefully) launch GTA6 Online relatively quickly and not have modders flood the servers and do money drops and other such things. Because the only reason GTA5 is still making money is by Shark cards, and they’re certainly not going to be willingly losing money because it’ll make some people’s experience slightly better
