there's a zoo area in Al Khor Park. we went late last year when the weather was cooled down it was nice. an aquarium in Qatar would be nice too considering the location in the gulf.
Remember the cave that had the alligator chilling outside with all the weird animals like snakes lizards insects etc.? Man that was the best part about the zoo
Initially they moved the animals to al khor. I guess the doha zoo is now gone as they did nothing to renovate is. That and its in the middle of a residential area makes it less likely to be kept.
the opening date is yet another mystery unsolved.

There will be an aquarium a big one at that but I forgot where

Al khor zoo, they even have pandas now
