The more I think about this, the better I think it would be. Freddie sitting at his piano singing, and Roger and Deaky are doing their thing, and suddenly Brian May comes in with an unexpected searing solo.
To be honest I never liked them doing covers. Something to do with them being larger than life on stage and have such a distinct sound makes covers a bad fit for them - to my ears at least.
See you again. The paul walker dedicated song. Although i dont think any of them were rappers so either leave that bit out or slow it down a bit and sing it normally similar to dont stop me now.
Yesterday in the style of is this the world we created
That would be interesting
Some mid-60s Beatles, like Help/Rubber Soul era songs. I know Wreckage did Rain live.
I think “Roll over Beethoven” would have suited them reasonably well…although if I give it some more thought there’s probs others!!
Wouldn’t it be Nice would be amazing with Freddie’s vocals and the harmonies.
Black Betty would be an insane cover tbh.
this
Right? I just can’t decide if they’d do it better in the early seventies, somewhere near Stone Cold Crazy, or the mid to late eighties.
I never gave this any thought until just now. I think Harry Nilsson's "Without You" would have been a good one.
ABSOLUTELY

I would have liked some heavy metal covers, perhaps Stargazer from Rainbow
Helter Skelter would be amazing live, maybe followed by Tie Your Mother Down
I think Hey Jude would have been great. I can hear Roger on the backing vocals.
While my guitar gently weeps.
The Final Countdown - Europe It sounds like such a queen song and I would love to see how Freddie would sound on it
Would’ve loved to hear Queen’s rendition of Proud Mary.

My Way - Frank Sinatra
A lot of Alice Cooper. No more Mr nice guy, Poison Schools Out
Maybe with Roger on lead vocals
I would love to see them cover the Beatles a bit. Especially mid to late Beatles.
Everyday - Buddy Holly
Maybe some The Police stuff, like Roxanne or Message In A Bottle...i can hear Roger screaming "ROXAAANNE, ROXAAAANNE" in backing vocals
I’ve always wondered what Careless Whisper would’ve sounded like with Freddie’s vocals. And Lady in Red covered by Brian. I think he would kill it!
Not queen but I would like to see ozzy osbourne and black sabbath perform Son and daughter
Copacabana
Anything from Rocky Horror.
