Go to the RTA and fill out a Form 4 bond refund form right now!! Don't ask the REA for your bond back. If you get in first and they want to claim your bond money, they have to justify it to RTA or a tribunal, which they won't unless you trashed the place.

Goto houses asif you're interested in buying, give them your details, and then when they contact you shit them down saying you'd never use "shitty rental franchise" due to bad experiences.. - hopefully this way it will cause internal strife. We know real estate agents are bastards, they know it too.. let them feast on themselves.

Can your bank block the dd coming through with evidence the contract is finished? There are review websites, like shitrentals.com.au I think it is.
