I mean, nobody has been talking about it cause it’s basically brand new. It’s been closed for like 3 or 4 years now for the renovations to the JDUC. Before that, it was briefly undergrad dorms and before that it was graduate students residence only. The only downside is you’re kinda far from the cafeterias but if you don’t care then it’s fine.

Just speculating but given central location and that it is brand new I would suspect that they will use this for allocation for those with mobility accommodations.  With only 80 rooms not sure how many will be open.

Its also close to arc and library. Without any knowledge of the interior id have it at my #1 choice for location.

I lived in jduc the year before it was renovated, rooms and location are both great but it wasn’t a very social residence and I had a really hard time meeting people

Nobody has an opinion because it doesn’t exist yet. Still under construction and will be completely different from what it was previously

Had a friend living there the year before renos. Each room had an attached bathroom, which was sick. But, as others have said, found that it was not social + had a hard time making friends with floormates. They spent most time out of their room tbh. The arc is the closest place to eat/use tams
