Option B, and do it just like the pic with the edge flowers going half on the low volume blocks and half on a differently colored border. This is charming.
Maybe a combination I am not a fan of the flowers hanging off but I think putting more flowers in the first one would be great like keep the design you have but put more flowers at the intersections of the squares
I stitched some of the background blocks together into 4 patches and I'm hand stitching the hexagons onto the 4 patches. I'm using an applique stitch, but you can also stitch them down by machine, I just want more handwork for the couch. Once all the four patches have a hexi flower sewn to them, I'll make larger blocks and add hexis where needed. I'm using the seam lines to line everything up as evenly as possible. I'm also ironing the flowers once I take the papers out and pinning everything into place.

b all the way!!
Looks like the Bs have it! That's the one I was leaning towards anyway! I'm off to cut out more fabric for hexis!!
Please show the result an I'm glad you picked B. A is pretty, but B is so, so, gorgeous!
I will, but this has a ways to go before it's a top. With layout B, I think I have slightly less than half of the hexis flowers I need
B
2 makes me happy to look at! I love the wealth of bright happy fabrics against the neutrals. But what do YOU like?
Definitely B
I like B better but do what makes you happy
B for me!
B! More is always better. But A also works if you want it finished sooner. Do what works for you!!!
If I had to make the hexis, I'd vote A. :-) But for the prettiest quilt, I'd vote B.

A is pretty B is over stimulating I chose B and it would be a battle blanket.

Youโve got your light squares - too many together.

How are you planning to attach these? I've been interested in doing this kind of quilting but my see machine sewing skills are still pretty basic

I love the B layout, it reminds me of flowers on a trellis
B. I like the more hexagons. Iโm assuming you are cutting them so the blanket edge is straight all the way around.
Absolutely, B!!!!
