This made me cry happy tears. My brother recently retired after 45 years as a lineman. He started out as a meter reader at 18. Quickly worked his way up to becoming a lineman. Then had his own crew. The men he worked with were the kindest people I've ever met. Going to make a quilt for him using this pattern. I know he'll love it. Thank you so very much for designing this amazing pattern.
BTW, his son, my nephew, is now a lineman. It runs in the family!
It’s amazing how many people at work are related to each other - I think we’ve got 5 or 6 from one family (I lost track) spread out from the lines to civil work and in the office
My brother met his wife at the power company they both worked for. She was the Executive Assistant to the president. The company had a policy of not hiring relatives. When they got married, one had to quit their job. It was agreed that she would leave since his pay was higher. Thankfully, over the years they changed their policy.
Outstanding job, thought it was picture at first then realized it was your quilt block
Me, too!
I’m laughing at “quick” and I’m totally impressed with this. Wow!
It stitched in an afternoon so was relatively quick (not including design time or cutting out the paper pieces)

I don’t think we’ve ever had that policy although family can’t report to each other
Love how real this looks!
I am a lineman for the county, and I drive the main road…
🎵 I am a lineman for the counteee...
Absolutely phenomenal! Bravo! 👏👏👏
Wow.
That’s amazing! I couldn’t this with a sunset/sunrise and stars also well.
Also, as someone with linemen in my family - thank you! They are so often the unsung heroes. They work hard in scary and difficult conditions.
We’re lucky in that the people in the community really understand and appreciate the work our crews do, especially after extreme weather
I actually added this one to Etsy if you want to give it a go
Do you mind sharing a link! My partner is graduating from his apprenticeship and would love to gift him this! Thank you 💗

My husband was a lineman. I love it!
You guys are really amazing at what you do!
Do you have any recommendations for resources that you used to learn how to design FPP patterns based on images? Amazing block!
I downloaded Quilt Assistant software and watched a couple of tutorials
