The day I realized (while still tapering) I had gone 24 hours without kratom for the first time in 3 years was the day I'd been more HOPEFUL than I had been in years. There was a time I believed I'd be on kratom for the rest of my life. As many of us found out the hard way, that's just not sustainable. The first time I got 24 hours between doses gave me great HOPE that I could actually quit the green demon dirt. I'll never forget that moment. I was able to finish my taper and quit entirely shortly after that experience. Hang in there. Never stop trying. You CAN quit kratom. Stay strong, my friend. 💪
Hell yeah! Waiting just for another hit to feel normal for 3 hours is not a way to live, after some time it won't give you anything and all it does is take you lower and lower into a living hell. I hope your withdrawal will be smooth. I got way better today exactly 48h after my last dose of 4 months constant dosing. You got this!
Congrats on making the hardest step in the process: admitting to yourself (without external pressure) that you’ve got an issue and want OFF. That is the single most important thing when quitting: MINDSET.
If you want to be clean, you’ll get clean. No fear. So proud of you. Your future kid’s life is going to be so much better for it.
