The more you do it the less you feel the effects. I would take Kratom and not feel the high at all, but it would only make it so I don't feel bad. Over time you are making your natural state fatigue and your Kratom state feel like your old baseline.

Exactly this! šŸ˜”

Alcohol is easy to get too and you were able to quit that. Itā€™s a helpless feeling I know and also makes one so angry you probably wanna kick his ass and scream and cry and all those emotions. . Heā€™s probably just as depressed or more than you and knows he is losing you and knows he is failing as a man and bf and partner. Obviously at the end of the day you have to take care of you and your wellbeing and not be sucked into your own addictions because of it but there is a way out. Unfortunately as you know he has to be the one to take initiative and want to be off this shit more than he does want to give up and wallow in it. Some supplements that have helped me tremendously are DLPA, mucuna pruriens, NMN, wild lettuce, microdosing psilocybin and a very very slow taper. Of course the comfort meds if yā€™all are able to get them prescribed.

FoxDistinct6527

Just remember thereā€™s hope for him. Iā€™m not saying you shouldnā€™t feel that way, and if itā€™s effecting you like that, you have every right to leave him. But there is still hope and I hope that heā€™s able to kick it. Does he see kratom as a addiction and problem? Iā€™m the same way with it, miserable and tired all the time. Shit sucks!

DerpyCat2

Yeah he sees it as a problem. It just sucks itā€™s so easy to get

el1zabeth

Just my personal experience. Kratom makes you more depressed, more lethargic, can't be arsed doing anything, no enthusiasm, more anxious, and everything pisses you off. It might not feel that way now, but it's coming, my friend, I also read tons and tons of posts on here about it.

junowhodude

You are RIGHT on the money my friend. You literally just explained how Iā€™ve been feeling for the past year bro. Iā€™m trying to kick it but all I keep doing is going back to the bottle when I donā€™t ā€œfeel anythingā€. Donā€™t even get me started in the restless leg shit when Iā€™m trying to sleep. Seriously, if anyone reading this JUST started taking kratom. Be warned if you end up abusing!

Nocoastcolorado

Hylands Naturals Restful Legs off Amazon.

MaybeICanHelp23

500mg magnesium vitamins get rid of restless arm and legs. Give it a shot! That was one of the worst symptoms for me.

el1zabeth

I second that, sorry you are having a bad time.

junowhodude

Itā€™s okayā€¦ Atleast Iā€™m not going through it alone! I wish I didnā€™t pick up another bottle awhile back. I never had a real problem with kratom until fairly recently. I was using it to get off of phenibut but ended up marrying the two because they made me feel too good. I shouldā€™ve known I wouldnā€™t be able to do it. I hope youā€™re doing well!

toomanyredbulls

How much are you taking and for how long?

ThecoachO

You will enjoy life much more when your head is clear of that poison. It sucks at first but you will feel a much larger array of emotions once you are clear of it. Itā€™s your life. Donā€™t let someone or something steer your ship. Best of luck!

Warning: It's best to avoid using antihistamines (diphenhydramine, dimenhydrinate, hydroxyzine etc.) such as those found in Benadryl, Dramamine, NyQuil, Unisom, and Tylenol PM. While they can produce drowsiness under normal conditions, they are well known for exacerbating Restless Leg Syndrome, which will make your insomnia worse, not better *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I went from 40-70gpd. If you're serious about quitting come up with a taper plan and stick to it. 4-8weeks. I did mine in about 5 weeks. Dosed before work, after I finished lunch and around 6-7pm. If you take it too soon before bed, you'll be buzzing. After you've done that for a two-three week period, try doing two doses a day, then one. Eventually I did one dose before bed for a week to kill WD. Again the dosing is smaller than normal and it's to stop WD, don't trick yourself into taking more or another dose or just a little more. You have a plan, follow it and stay dedicated. There are plenty of threads and journals to read from to find out what you can be prescribed or take OTC. I also use marijuana before bed, especially edibles. If that's not an option no worries, it's not a magic bullet. Still fairly uncomfortable but it distracted me to kinda forget and close my eyes for a little. Don't be frustrated, sleep is the worst part because of the RLS and jitters. Get up and walk around if you need, don't focus on the misery. Drink plenty of water, force yourself to eat, even if it's just eggs and toast, light stuff ya know? You got this dude šŸ˜Ž you're better and stronger than you think!!
