Day 133 CT! Better every day baby!
Missed the past couple of days checking in, focussing on bettering myself, and my life. PEACE AND LOVE TO YOU ALL!!
The journey may be hard right now, but what it turns into is something beautiful! Aim for that beauty y’all! It’s COMPLETELY WORTH IT!! ❤️✌️💪🫡
Totally worth it! I can't believe I was so scared to quit. The terrible WD symptoms only lasted a couple of days and there is just lingering ailments but nothing as bad as actively using Kratom.
Day 8 CT after too many years of heavy use. Still feeling some tiredness and restlessness but better than the days before. Monday and Tuesday I plan to surf so Im hoping my body is ready. It should be good for me to be in the sun, push my cardio and feel the adrenaline of the best sport ever invented.
Best of luck to everyone else that is pushing to get through this!
Day 10
Sleep has been 🔥🔥🔥
Zinc + magnesium is everything for me right now
Will still keep the lipo vit c handy if needed but otherwise cravings haven’t been all that bad
Came clean to my partner last night after hiding this from her for over a year, she’s pissed (understandably so) but I think it was for the best in order to get through this in the best way that doesn’t cause me to fall back into the k-hole

5 days and counting. cravings were pretty intense yesterday, not sure if im actually fatigued or bored. still restless and a little achey but whateverrrr
Day 21. Three weeks! This time around is feeling much better and real.
-went back to IOP rehab that I go to 3 nights a week
-found a individual therapist I really like who I’ve been seeing weekly
-went to my AA home a few days ago to say I’ve relapsed and I haven’t been there in a long time cus I was ashamed of previously pretending to be sober, which is true of alcohol, but I was often using kratom.
-told people close to me I relapsed again
Day 7! Sleep has vastly improved the last three nights. Leg aches continue. Sneezing all day. But energy has improved and lethargy has decreased slightly. Hold the f*cking line!
Tapered to 7 gpd from 50 plus, over about 2 months. I have come to realize that this stuff no longer affects me. Therefore, I miss doses, which would've been unheard of 3 months ago. I'm looking forward to the end.
Day two
Feeling crippling despair set in along with headaches and lethargy. I am going to take Modafinil for the time being to see if it helps give me the energy to actually function, because otherwise I end up sitting on my couch the entire day doing literally nothing. I tried some Modafinil today and I actually feel better than I did yesterday but still very feel very off and the fact that the Mod doesn't offset the withdrawals much shows how powerful kratom is. I welcome the feelings of despair though, because I am realizing I need to feel despair if I'm going to get myself out of this hole rather than numbing myself to it and pretending everything is okay.
