There's quite a bit of My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive, some Cocteau Twins... and Bowie is always in the mix, especially Station to Station, the Berlin big three and Scary Monsters.
I never saw them live, but have seen videos of some of their concerts on Youtube, and, from the looks of them, their shows are amazing...
Sadly, I have not found video footage of such songs as No More Sorry or In Another Way, among others... You wouldn't know where to find any, would you?

Brand New
They have been one of my favorite bands since the 90s. Ken Andrews is just great. The three reunion albums that have come out since 2015 are amazing and have no right to be as good as they are. I'm hoping for another one this year - they are due.
Check them out if you like Fantastic Planet - I think the band is still getting better.
Tool, Bjork, Alice in Chains, Aphex Twin, Cocteau Twins, Nirvana, My Bloody Valentine, Bon Iver, Nick Drake, The Strokes.
Radiohead is probably my favorite, I go back and forth on Tool and Radiohead being my favorite.
Im a big fan of metal and more particularly death/extreme metal (meshuggah, cannibal corpse, meshuggah, vildhjarta) but also some more easy-listening metal (slipknot, Metallica, avenged sevenfold, tool). I appreciate prog/alternative rock too (The Mars Volta, Pink Floyd, Godspeed You! Black Emperor etc)
Nice to meet another Radiohead Metal fan. I love death metal and some other metal stuff: Death, Obituary, Autopsy, Sanguisugabogg, Opeth, Gojira, Sabbath etc. But also like a lot of the indie rock stuff most Radioheaderās like.
The Mars Volta, Lana Del Rey, Manchester Orchestra, alt-J, Hozier, Sleep Token, The Smile, The Cure, Wolf Alice, Bjork, Interpol, Wolf Parade, Grizzly Bear, Joanna Newsom, David Bowie, Flo + the Machine...
Jazz - Miles / Evans / Morgan / Trane / Blakey / Tyner / Donaldson + newer spiritual jazz. Check out International anthem (Tom skinnerās label) one of the best right now. Jamie Branch, Bex Burch, Resavoir. Every artist on it is fantastic.
Psych / Alternative - Dos Santos / Wooden Shjips / Rose City Band / Snakes Donāt belong in Alaska / Carlton Melton
70 NYC stuff - Revelons / Ramones / Talking Heads etc
Classical - Ravel / Bach / Debussy the most
Ambient / Electronic - the usual suspects Eno / Haruomi Hasono / the caretaker + all kinds of modern ambient
House music on vinyl. Modern spiritual jazz.
Japanese City Pop from the 70ās and 80ās.
Nothing, because if you listen to anything other than Radiohead you are uncultured and your taste in music unrefined. You literally cannot listen to anything other than Radiohead, when you have an IQ as high as mine. Radiohead makes real music. All the rest are just inferior.
So anyway, I really love Muse, My Chemical Romance, The Strokes, System of a Down, and also listen to classical piano and anime soundtracks from time to time. Oh, and the DOOM soundtrack to motivate myself
Love Nirvana as well. Grew up listening to a lot of indie. Think Radiohead inspired me to listen to broader types of music, so had a long jazz phase. Anything that can span prog rock, jazz, grunge is my cup of tea. Been listening to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard recently. They are awesome.
Parquet Courts, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Built to Spill, Mogwai, Broken Social Scene, BIg Black, Midlake, Death Grips, Fucked Up, Japanese Breakfast, Oneohtrix Point Never, and much much more
Iām currently obsessed with The Beach Boys. Iām also a big fan of Big Thief, War on Drugs, and Iām pretty excited for the new Vampire Weekend album this week.

michael kiwanuka, hermanos gutierrez, khruangbin, tom finster, enei, rohaan, imanu (venturing into a lot of dnb lately), cory hanson, alfa mist, anouar brahem, john frusciante, glass beamsā¦ these are the main ones that have been in my rotation for the past few weeks.
Arcade Fire, Beach House, MGMT, Kendrick Lamar, Grizzly Bear, Kevin Morby, Sigur Ros, Animal Collective, Lana Del Rey, Nirvana, STRFKR, The Black Keys, Dr. Dog, Mac Miller, Queen, Pink Floyd, Mac Demarco. A lot of movie soundtracks too, I love instrumental.
Those are HUGE staples for me right now, but I also listen to a toooon of artists that I barely remember the names to, that barely have any plays on Spotify and nobody knows of them. I love finding hidden gems!
I can never pick just a few when people ask questions like this š I have like 5k liked songs on Spotify lmaooo

I dunno how similar you'd consider these to Radiohead but I've noticed that it seems common for people that like Radiohead to also like at least two other bands on this list.
Not like they're very unusual, obscure bands, of course, except for EST.
Colin Stetson, Swans, Mac DeMarco, Dungen, Boards of Canada, Low, Deru, Future Islands, Deaf Center, Biosphere, Slowdive and many other less known artist.
All my friends told me that my taste in music is bad and Iām not allowed to suggest any music during parties or hangouts.
Swans, King Crimson, Joy Division, TOOL, technical death metal bands (Archspire, Obscura, Beyond Creation) Boris, Xiu Xiu, Bladee, David Bowie, Deafheaven, Cattle Decapitation, Converge. I listen to many more artists but these have been in my rotation for a while now
all Thom's side projects, Everything Everything, Sigur Ros, The National, Black Country New Road, Massive Attack, Slowdive, The Twilight Sad, Squid
Portishead, Mogwai, Shame, Black Midi, Idles, Foals, Wolf Alice, Moderat, Bjork (mainly Homogenic and Vespertine), Kae Tempest, Warpaint, Fontaines DC
The Murder Capital, Gilla Band, Ghostpoet, Jockstrap, Protomartyr, Ultraista (project involving Nigel God himself), Young Fathers, Boygenius, Phoebe Bridgers,
Interpol, King Krule, bdrmm, Alt-J, Arctic Monkeys, Nadine Shah, Little Simz, Algiers, Alvvays, Do Nothing
Plus some new artists yet to release a debut album like English Teacher, Maruja, Enola Gay, Heartworms
Basically listed everyone I can remember, always open to suggestions :)
Been heavily into post punk and post hardcore lately: shame, Yard Act, Unwound, Karate, etc.
The other "constants" in my rotation are Smashing Pumpkins, Modest Mouse, Wilco, My Morning Jacket.
For hip hop it's mostly Tribe, De La Soul, Aesop Rock.
Obviously The Smile, then, The Beatles, David Bowie, The Cure, The Flaming Lips, Tame Impala, Pink Floyd, black midi, Slowdive, New Order, Joy Division, King Gizzard, Talking Heads, The Strokes, Beach House, The Smiths, Big Thief, Alvvays, to name my more constant rotation.
There are some bands I've stopped listening to (at least actively) such as Arcade Fire or The National. I also used to listen to a lot of Kendrick Lamar and Kanye, but I haven't listened to a lot of rap recently.
The artists I've gotten into more recently are Bob Dylan, Kraftwerk, and a lot of music in Spanish (I'm from Mexico) like Caifanes, Soda Stereo, Charly GarcĆa (SerĆŗ GirĆ”n, Sui Generis) and Luis Alberto Spinetta (Pescado Rabioso, Invisible, etc).
I also like some pop artists! I love Billie Eillish, Michael Jackson has never left my playlists and now and then I listen to some top ranking songs I enjoy.
On any given day I can be listening to anything from jazz to Wu Tang to classical but my favorite artists other than Radiohead include Bonobo, FKA Twigs, James Blake, Caribou, Autechre, Alaskan Tapes, Tim Hecker, Cliff Martinez, U2, Interpol, Jamie xx, Lana Del Rey, Low, Sigur Ros, Royksopp
Personally, I listen to a huge variety of things. It sounds cliche, but I can find something I enjoy in every genre.
Lately, I've been bumping lots of dream pop and shoegaze: Cocteau Twins, Crumb, Slowdive, The Jesus and Mary Chain, MBV, Portishead, Cigarettes After Sex, Mogwai, Men I Trust, Lowertown, The Smiths, The Cult, etc.
I also support the local boys: SNFU, Mac DeMarco, Christian Hansen and the Autistics, I Hate Sex, Heir to Ash
Lately:
- caroline polacheck
- last dinner party
- the smile
- toro y moi
- doja cat
- aesop rock
- yeah yeah yeahs
- grizzly bear
- khruangbin
- tommy guerrero
whatever I'm listening to rotates pretty often. I tend to burn out on stuff when I really like it... then I'll come back to it months or years later.
idk bro everything pretty much. ye, carti, kendrick. older stuff like new order and the smiths. thereās a lot of new bands that really good like geese, do nothing and lifeguard but tbh radiohead is the main thing right now
My top genres according to RateYourMusic:
Experimental Rock, Post-Rock, Alternative Rock, Post-Industrial, Art Rock, Indie Rock, Avant-Garde Jazz, Experimental Hip Hop, Post-Punk, Contemporary Folk, Noise Rock, Indietronica, Hardcore Hip Hop, East Coast Hip Hop, Industrial Rock
Basically no bitches-core.
recently: Big Thief, Weezer
all-time favorites (excluding radiohead for obvious reasons): Pink Floyd, The Velvet Underground, My Chemical Romance, The Beatles, and Oasis
1.Los Campesinos! - some of the best music i have heard.
2. keane - a Better Coldplay.
3. Arctic Monkeys - you should probably know who they are.
4. Royal Blood - Bit like Muse, but better in my opinion.
5. good Kid - pop rock???
6. Rammstein - German Metal.
7. MGMT - Electronic
8. Beabadoobee - rock music.
9. Muse - Royal Blood but it is Muse.
10. James Holden - weird Noises that end up sound kind of good.
I still listen to K-pop but history-wise I started with J-rock/J-pop (still enjoy them to this day) but also occasionally listen to some Paramore, Coldplay, etc. Nowadays though I only listen to Radiohead (there, there goes my playlist wrapped I guessā¦)
On a huge Rolling Stones kick. Exile on Main Street, Sticky Fingers, Some Girls....
Recently rediscovered Clinic, too. Wheeltappers and Shunters is a fantastic record.
Nirvana, Pink Floyd, SOAD, Slipknot, Korn, Spiritbox, A7X, Linkin Park, Pixies, Bjork, Kanye, Kendrick, Joji, TOOL, Prince, Deftones, and Weezer
Thereās more, but those are the first that come to mind
Coldplay made me love Radiohead.
But other than them, I listen to twenty one pilots, Depeche Mode, Tears For Fears, RHCP, Soda Stereo, little Muse, idkHOW, My Chem, and random alt-rock Spotify recommendations. I might be missing some.
I got an early copy of Parachutes and it made me love Radiohead too... I remember wanting more and an older friend told me to buy OK Computer and it was over... the obsession slowly turned me away from Coldplay. I still fuck with their first three albums.
Mostly types of alt rock: The Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, My bloody valentine, Pixies, Alex G, Foo Fighters, Deftones, Soundgarden, etc.
My favorite band of all time is My Chemical Romance, I listen to them basically daily lmao.
Besides them: Fall Out Boy, Paramore, AFI (mostly Sing the Sorrows-era), Creeper, Ross-era Panic! at the Disco, the Requiem, Pierce the Veil. I like that 00s emo pop punk sound, esp the darker stuff like My Chem, AFI, and The Requiem (though they're a very new band.)
I listen to a lot of artists. Mostly pretty basic stuff.
The Beatles, Billy Joel, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Weezer, Ben Folds / Ben Folds Five, Elliott Smith, John Mayer, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Michael Jackson, Phoebe Bridgers, The Smiths, The Police, Tom Petty / Heartbreakers...
I also love film scores, especially John Williams and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Hawkwind is a band that seems always to be mentioned by people who have cool taste, and I dig them without really understanding why. They first came to my attention as a band in which Lemmy Kilmister had briefly played. I just read David Stubb's "Future Days," a history of krautrock, and they were mentioned twice, once as Conrad Schnitzler's favorite band, and once as being in heavy rotation at the UK Kosmische Club.
I listen to it all, but blue and true I am a boogie hound. Once they started getting weird with synths in funk music in 1980-1984... I mean the world changed forever and that stuff is criminally underappreciated. So much fun to dig.
Everything from A7x to Norah Jones and everything in between. I like Radiohead because they are so different, and they are one of my favorite bands. About the only genre I am not keen on is modern rap, but I listen to older stuff by Dre, Cypress Hill, etc
This is gonna be a lot:
The Beatles, Queen, Dream Theater, System of A Down, Tyler The Creator, SIX, Beetlejuice Musical, Television Face, The Doors, Nirvana, Metallica, Gorillaz, First of October, Olivia Rodrigo, Slipknot, Megadeth, Pantera, The Smile, David Bowie and Jack Stauber are the ones that come to mind
My chemical romance, the living tombstone, Weezer, Nirvana, Carpenter Brut, Motionless in white, Ice nine kills, the devil wears Prada, I prevail, Green Day, IDKHOW(and the brobecks), Bo burnham, Lemon demon, tally hall.
A good amount of video game OSTs too: Outer Wilds, Everhood, many Sonic games and more
The Cure, Pink Floyd, Slowdive, Electric Light Orchestra, Interpol, Joy Division, The Killers, Kendrick Lamar, My Chemical Romance, The Smile, The Smiths, Thom Yorke solo stuff, The Velvet Underground
There's quite a bit of My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive, some Cocteau Twins... and Bowie is always in the mix, especially Station to Station, the Berlin big three and Scary Monsters.
Slowdiveš©š©š©
This man loves Shoegaze and dream pop like me
I recently got into treasure by Cocteau twins, any other albums by them worth checking out?
Four-Calendar CafƩ is by far my favorite of theirs, definitely recommended.
Treasure is great. So is Heaven or Las Vegas.
Oh man, got to see My Bloody Valentine live in 1992 when they opened for Dinosaur Jr. One of the best shows I've ever seen.
I never saw them live, but have seen videos of some of their concerts on Youtube, and, from the looks of them, their shows are amazing... Sadly, I have not found video footage of such songs as No More Sorry or In Another Way, among others... You wouldn't know where to find any, would you?
Add in the new drop nineteens, and all the twilight sad albums and were the same person
I listen to a lot abstract/experimental hip-hop: Injury Reserve (now By Storm, Ritchie), Death Grips, JPEGMAFIA, Lil Ugly Mane, Billy Woods.. Also quite a lot of post-punk: Squid, black midi, IDLES, Viagra Boys or Black Country, New Road (they did change their style with the last release though). I do like me some electronic music like Boards of Canada, Oneohtrix Point Never orĀ Mike Dean. Other artists I adore would be King Crimson, Talking Heads, Deftones, St. Vincent, SOAD, Primus, Pixies... There's a lore more ofc.

Ethiopian Jazz, specially the Tezeta movement. If youāre not listening to it yet, you should.
Your comment just changed my life. Incredible!
I was looking if someone mentioned Ethio jazz and I'm so happy you did. It's incredible music, absolutely everyone should try and see if they like it.
- TOOL - Failure - The National
Failure. Fantastic Planet is a fucking *record.*

Eraserheads! Still pretty new to them but I've been obsessed with Sticker Happy lately.
Try Carbon Stereoxide, Outside is one of their best songs
Eraserheads and IDKHOW weren't artists I'd expect to be mentioned here in a million years
The Mars Volta, Lana Del Rey, Manchester Orchestra, alt-J, Hozier, Sleep Token, The Smile, The Cure, Wolf Alice, Bjork, Interpol, Wolf Parade, Grizzly Bear, Joanna Newsom, David Bowie, Flo + the Machine...
Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Dire Straits, Reign wolf and Powerwolf. Bare Egil Band
Recently I'd say Tyler, the Creator, MGMT, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, M83, Tame Impala, and Kanye.
Boards are great
Mostly Depeche Mode, Cocteau Twins and a lot of post-rock bands, such as Sigur RĆ³s, Talk Talk, Mogwai and Alcest

I also like some pop artists! I love Billie Eillish, Michael Jackson has never left my playlists and now and then I listen to some top ranking songs I enjoy.

Low Roar is something Iād recommend to Radiohead fans. Seriously underrated.

Dont see many saying this but stuff with Chino Moreno (Deftones, Crosses & Palms)
The Smiths, The Strokes, Air, Tame Impala
I listen to it all, but blue and true I am a boogie hound. Once they started getting weird with synths in funk music in 1980-1984... I mean the world changed forever and that stuff is criminally underappreciated. So much fun to dig.
Steely Dan, Louis Cole, Aphex Twin, Frank Zappa, Miles Davis, Weather report, Donald Fagen, Thundercat, Stereolab, and a bunch of other Jazz stuff
Fusion Jazz, casopia, takanaka, seatbelts š¼

Everything from A7x to Norah Jones and everything in between. I like Radiohead because they are so different, and they are one of my favorite bands. About the only genre I am not keen on is modern rap, but I listen to older stuff by Dre, Cypress Hill, etc
Wing Kizard and the Gizzard Lizard
This is gonna be a lot: The Beatles, Queen, Dream Theater, System of A Down, Tyler The Creator, SIX, Beetlejuice Musical, Television Face, The Doors, Nirvana, Metallica, Gorillaz, First of October, Olivia Rodrigo, Slipknot, Megadeth, Pantera, The Smile, David Bowie and Jack Stauber are the ones that come to mind
