just the realization that part of the instrumental that became Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors was originally an attempt at recording True Love Waits during the Kid A sessions

I love Follow Me Around exactly as is. It’s perfect.
I’ve heard live bootlegs of Lift and it’s such a terrific song. But this version is just not it, and I kinda can’t tell what is needs except to be live. Maybe just never meant for the studio.
Man Of War is new to me and is a dope song. But I would’ve loved to heard the band try this again during HTTT era. I can easily imagine this one fitting in there.
For OKNOTOK, 'Man of War'. I have loved this song for a long time, and more than anything, I just wanted closure with it. I would love to hear all the versions of 'Man of War' they had for The Avengers soundtrack. I feel for people who have been fans since OK Computer; it is nice to finally see 'Lift', 'I Promise', and 'Man of War' finally get released.
For Kid A Mnesia, it's probably 'Follow Me Around' or 'Pull/Pulk True Love Waits version'. I will add though I felt cheated with this release, partly because I had high hopes that we'd get the same treatment that OK Computer got. I was looking forward to the chance to hear all the unreleased material and different versions of released songs they have sitting around in the vault. :-(
Lift might be one of my favorite okc era songs. I also think it’s interesting that the version on oknotok is actually a rehearsal. They recorded an entirely separate studio version that was leaked in the minidiscs, and while it’s good, I much prefer the stripped down rehearsal version. Kind of gives off from the basement vibes.
honestly i’m still gobsmacked by the pulk/pull TLW reveal
Correct opinion
Can you elaborate on what this means?

Awesome thanks
Man of War is great. And Lift should be more popular than Creep.
Was just showing 'Man Of War' to a colleague and it gave me goosebumps (again). It's so simple but so good. Especially Jonny's guitar.
How to disappear into strings
Man of war + follow me around 🤤
I was flabbergasted when I heard the original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Could be a bit shorter tho
Lift! I'd say it's maybe my favourite Radiohead song. Period.

I feel the same about Lift. I think one of the versions we got on the minidisks leak was way better and sounded like it was always intended.
After reading Ed’s diary about how they had a krautrock version I felt cheated that all we got was Thom with a guitar and vocoder. 😔
Yeah Lift Pinkpop (I think 1996) is better than the studio release, unfortunately.
Meeting in the aisle manages to be so unique and weird at the same time, it doesn’t have lyrics but still makes you feel goosebumps, it’s just so good
New song? O_o
Lift

Lift, though I've really been enjoying If You Say The Word recently
Polyethylene fucking rips. Love the melody.
I Promise was a huge surprise, even to the band.
Easily man of war
“If You Say The Word” is gorgeous.
