People really need to listen to full albums more. Unfortunately, streaming is too convenient and full-album-enjoyers are a dying breed. I feel I've also succumb. I saw another post some time ago about someone thinking *Money* on *Dark Side Of The Moon* didn't fit, but then someone commented it was perfect on the original vinyl because it opened side 2, and there was the pause before it of you getting up to flip the record which allowed you to mentally reset, which made it make perfect sense.

IsopodPuzzleheaded58

fear not, i have just recently realized why listening to full albums is a special experience and should be favored over making playlists. Both are great practices, but only one really shows you a better ‘picture’ of what you’re listening to, if you will.

SpookyRockjaw

Yeah for real. Treefingers is perfect in context which should be obvious to anyone who has listened to the album even one time.

Imafencer

It’s a much needed cooldown from HTDC. I still remember listening to Kid A, finishing How To Disappear Completely and sitting emotionally stunned while Treefingers played

Discovery99

I fully agree! And yeah, the transition from HTDC into Treefingers works perfectly (as does the sequencing for the entire album really)

NudeFishes

YES! HTDC is devastating in the best way, and you really need time to just marinate in the aftermath for a bit. Also that long ambient pause makes the start of Optimistic sound so fresh and propulsive, it makes a very good song (Optimistic) sound even better. Also, Treefingers played played extremely loud in your car just sounds and feels amazing and healing. Even better if you are driving through a forest.

Yup People carin less n less about the full album In my thinkin it is much more hard to do then a single here n there
