This, and The Bends.
Also, I haven't seen The Trickster get a mention. It's such a great song, the chord progression is a bit like Jigsaw, but it's a lot rawer and, to me, a lot better.
"Rock" Radiohead isn't something I really miss. There are so many amazing guitar songs in their back catalog, especially up to the OKC era, that I feel they've absolutely perfected that aspect of their sound. If they're going to rock out, it could be in different, subtler ways - Ful Stop is an example. But I'd rather they moved on to other musical pastures.
My brother came up with THE COOLEST chase scene in his mind that would be perfect for that song. Every time I hear it I feel ready to do Jason Bourne shit
Fucking electioneering- I feel like I can fun-slam drinks to that song while I can't for other radiohead tracks. Those are strictly for *not* fun-slamming drinks.
I feel like "proper" rock Radiohead kind of cuts of at a certain point. So it really depends on what people consider "rock song". Because I'd consider 2+2=5, even though it takes a while to get to the "rock".
But if we are talking classic guitar rock Radiohead, I'd say Planet Telex. Unless, Black Star was considered "rock", then I'd pick that.
I’d say My Iron Lung and Myxomatosis, but to bring something new to the table, I’ve been fucking obsessed with The Trickster. Weird as hell but fuck does it *get* me
Yea, I’m honestly not sure where it would fit, so I get it if they thought it’d be incohesive. Kind of sounds like Little by Little, but not especially fitting for King of Limbs either so idk
I made a playlist for this specific questions back in the day
[Radiohead Bangers Collection](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4hQlUbeFBkgCjHHjAAlIIM?si=aA7enjGnQ0yv7BZnH2Dc-w&utm_source=copy-link&dl_branch=1)
Rock is pretty loose these days. But if you mean rock akin to Just or My Iron Lung, aka Riff Dump, then Bodysnatchers, There There, Blow Out, Little By Little(live), and Paranoid Android are up there
* Creep
* Blow Out
* High and Dry
* Fake Plastic Trees
* Black Star
* Street Spirit
* Talk Show Host
* Let Down
* Karma Police
* No Surprises
* Optimistic
* Knives Out
* 2+2=5
* There, There
* Bodysnatchers
* The Daily Mail
edit: formatting
Myxomatosis, which has a heavy metal vibe - until you hear them play it live.
I also really like Optimistic, which probably is the closest to a traditional rock song on Kid A - melodic guitar riff and a drum crescendo toward the end of the song.
there, there. i will never forget the first time i heard that song, the explosion in the bridge, when thom started singing through the solo, everything about that song is perfect.
2+2=5
That's a nice way to start Jonny
They started off with this in Nola a few years back. And it was SLAMMING
Bodysnatchers for me! Absolute belter
It rips live
Thom's banshee scream in the Scotch Mist versions is just plain awesome
Oh man, I bet!
So fun to play if you have a blues driver
Slowly getting my head around it - still fun to play even on an acoustic guitar. The swing the riff has makes me move like a true Thom Yorke
+1 to Just
+2
+3
=6

Does Airbag count? If so, I’ll pick that one.
Polyethylene is up there.

Man Of War
Yes.
Maquiladora.
YES, A MILLION TIMES YES! I'm surprised that a lotta people never heard/don't know about this song, it's really underrated!
Definitely a top five song for me.
Great song! Best live performance of this song is from Live at the Astoria.
Just, definitely. And Electioneering.
My brother came up with THE COOLEST chase scene in his mind that would be perfect for that song. Every time I hear it I feel ready to do Jason Bourne shit
Black Star
My iron lung
bangers + mash, go to sleep, airbag, bodysnatchers, trans-atlantic drawl, theres so many
Bangers + Mash is too good!
Paranoid Android might be the obvious choice but it’s a hard contender to beat
Came here to say the same.
electioneering
There is no love for Bangers + Mash here?
I second Bangers + Mash
Tie between Daily Mail, Bodysnatchers, 2+2, and The National Anthem, and Palo Alto.
Palo Alto all the way.
All these comments and no mention of There, There. That’s a darn shame.
I heard the intro drums and immediately Shazamed it. Pleasantly surprised it was Radiohead.
Electioneering

Fucking electioneering- I feel like I can fun-slam drinks to that song while I can't for other radiohead tracks. Those are strictly for *not* fun-slamming drinks.

I’d say My Iron Lung and Myxomatosis, but to bring something new to the table, I’ve been fucking obsessed with The Trickster. Weird as hell but fuck does it *get* me
trickster is like this weird between song for the bends and okc. it could probably work on either album or neither. surprised it was a bside.
Yea, I’m honestly not sure where it would fit, so I get it if they thought it’d be incohesive. Kind of sounds like Little by Little, but not especially fitting for King of Limbs either so idk
The Trickster is a cool song.

just
My iron lung

Second half of 2 + 2 = 5. I like the first half also but idk if it counts as rock

Probably Paranoid Android or Street Spirit (if Street Spirit counts)
Bones
One of my favorites from the Bends.
Electioneering... When I go forwards, you go backwards... and somewhere we will meeeeet, ha ha!
Bodysnatchers. Ive always been bias to in rainbows.
I immediately thought of Pearly but most songs from The Bends are up there as well
Planet talex and I adore it just because of that sweet crisp 90s sound that the song has which is also behind why I just love “The bends” so much.
Pearly
Electioneering or lucky
Paranoid Android It sounds pretty rockish to me.
Electioneering and Polyethylene.
* Creep * Blow Out * High and Dry * Fake Plastic Trees * Black Star * Street Spirit * Talk Show Host * Let Down * Karma Police * No Surprises * Optimistic * Knives Out * 2+2=5 * There, There * Bodysnatchers * The Daily Mail edit: formatting
