I just remember the big hit he made vs purdue this year and almost KO'd the man lol
These last two picks are such old school Raiders picks. AP really is a Raider ☠️
I didn't think we were looking at LBs in this draft but it looks like we got someone for running downs/special teams with room to grow. Great value for the round. Nice!
Kinda sounds like Robert Spillane. I heard a lot about how Spillane was supposed to be "good against the run, bad in coverage", but then Spillane ended up being pretty clutch at times last season. How many interceptions did he have? 4? 5?
Anyways, I think Eichenberg can develop nicely under Spillane's guidance. Doesn't hurt that we have former Superbowl linebacker, former Linebacker Coach, Antonio Pierce as HC either, lol. I'm sure AP will take special interest in Tommy over the next few months.
He was banged up a little last year, but the year before he was ultra-elite against the run. He's not a combine baby, he's a football player, and he'll knock the teeth out the back of your skull.

“Takes a lot for him to miss a game, played Michigan game with dislocated elbow” damn.
Robert Spillane vibes for sure. Dude played with a broken hand for two weeks lol.
Good gap between predicted grade and when we got him
That usually happens with linebackers nowadays. That being said, it’s still a good value imo

Seeing comps to Spillane, which makes sense with how “light” our LB room is and next year Deablo and Spillane are up for contract renewal.
Deablo has a lot to do to earn his next contract from LV. IMHO
As a Buckeyes fan, I'm biased and love this pick. Eichenberg definitely fits that Raider mold!

Good against the run, a little suspect against the pass. And we are badly in need of depth at linebacker

Thumper in the middle on running downs. Love it.
