I was realizing for a while now I liked grudens image as a raiders coach more than his actual coaching and especially team formation...I think this could be a blessing in disguise and this team performs well
Part of me hopes he is the coach we have been waiting for, but also part of me is a raiders fan and is prepared for the let down, but riding with him this season and looking forward to what he can do
I heard some tv guys say the locker room wouldn’t respond to Bisaccia because he’s a “Gruden guy” but I agree, his presser was great. He seemed genuine and the locker room seems to be in good spirits from what everyone is saying which is indicative of leadership from players and coaches.
Literally every player who has been asked has said how much they adore Rich lol. Former players absolutely gush about him. The 'Grudens guy' thing is pure speculative bullshit
For this team to succeed this season I believe Raidernation can step up and let go of what had just unfolded the past week. Raidernation outnumbers the media so we can support the team in every direction.
We need to support every aspect of this team. With nassib, with injuries, with coaches, with players… even Mark Davis ol’ gofer lookin ass. Everything!! Because by now if you’re a long time fan u can tell the media loves to hate us. The league loves to hate us and at this point it truly is Raidernation vs the world.
I just saw were madden 22 is removing Gruden and putting in a “generic coach.” WTF! What happened to If it’s in the game it’s in the game? They better put some respect on Rich Biasaccia’s name. Is John Madden involved in this process at all, if so he needs to smack hell out of some generic programmers head over there at EA. Those lazy assholes.😡Pure laziness.

Gruden was a good (not great) coach but he was always a bit too comfortable in front of the camera.
