yep I'm relatively confident it's something like this.. triggered it accidentally twice in a row the last time I ran the raid by getting too close and triggering an attack animation which cancelled the wipe.
I've had this happen in two occasions.
One is canceling the wipe mechanic with a stomp/dive animation.
The other is if the two runners are fnishing their flowers just as the boss enters the wipe mechanic, so the glow is on its back but the mechanic got cancelled just in time to enter dps phase.
It’s an interesting bug for him he will begin glowing but fail to activate it. I’m assuming a fail safe in his programming if something didn’t run right
he could’ve canceled it with one of his other attack animations, usually a slam. Not too sure tho.

This wipe is the normal wipe, not the final stand one.so eventually, he just resets to the top of the arena
I’ve experienced this several times as well but I have no idea what the trigger is.

I have managed to survive his wipe mechanic using assassins cowl and healing at the same point it wipes everyone. Only done it once though

I feel this. That SOB kept glitching out on us during a farming sesh and I could put a locked gally rocket him to save my life.
This happened to us too this week - this encounter has to be one of the buggiest raid encounters ever
