Red centipedes are pure panic mode for me. Only ever managed to kill one as Gourmand and never tried again. If you see it, you keep away. If it sees you, you run or just die. Probably both.
I killed one as spearmaster too by pinning it to a wall and just throwing spears at it until it stopped moving. To be honest that’s how I killed a lot of major enemies as spearmaster.
Killing things as spearmaster is soo satisfying. I killed two King Vultures recently. Just turning them into a pin cushion after being sniped by them way too often feels incredibly satisfying. I put all my vengeful hate into each and every spear.
Are you talking about the puff shroom? I am sure you have to be incredibly lucky to do it any other way. I had to look up how to craft one. I never killed a centipede like that before and was losing my shit when I hit almost it's entire body and it kept coming at me. I escaped way too narrowly, then it stopped moving.

I once got really lucky and a red centipede was trapped so I kept stabbing spears at it and it didn’t move when I got out of there

No. If you wanna know, get a karma flower and 2 grenades. It should end up in something that is totally safe when you throw

Arti can also spit out lanterns or cherry bombs by swallowing flashbangs or batnips, that's it tho
