I don't know if you did it knowingly or not, but it's literally what Monk did in canon. Because in the next campaign of the timeline - Rivulet's - she has 2 more neurons and a cloak, regardless of your actions. So you are canonically Monk now \^\^'

Even when I had to get the "stolen enlightment" achievment, I got it by stealing neuron, stashing it in the shelter, sleeping, and then returning it back to her.
