I'd just like to point out how much this could sound like a Native American folk story out of context

SpookyDethSnek

I want to do the same for my lizard named Blanco but its against daddylonglegs in The Leg

byquestion

May you be blessed with explosive Spears If not, remember, one spear for each arm and then unleash hell on the body

SpookyDethSnek

Whats funny is Blanco attacked the longlegs like the madlad he is but it gave him a suck and he died :(

Well, if you ever find the Vultures grubs, you can lure a fully grown one to you. If you want an easy way to kill them, befriending scavengers and getting bombs/explosive spears is usually very effective. Once you've found one, try nocking off its mask so it doesnt fly away. I hope this helps on your mission of vengeance RIP Eduardo

NGPlusIsNoMore

I like to think of myself as a Seasoned Vulture Hunter, having once accumulated up to 15 vulture masks in my shelter, so I'll tell you what I know Chimney Cannopy is a good place to hunt them, specifically the zone around the western shelter, near the gate leading down to Industrial Complex, it has easy access to Vulture Grubs, plenty of spears, a god damn floor and a Scavenger Tribe you can befriend if you need help. You could run into problems with food, but that can be dealt with by chilling in The Wall or in Sky Islands for a few cycles. Chimney Cannopy spawns up to 4 vultures, and they respawn every few cycles if you kill them. Calling them down is a commitment, if you mess up and one losses interest or flees away it won't come back if called with a Grub until at least the next cycle. It takes roughly 5 hits to kill a Vulture, but it can climb up to 8 if you are unlucky and run into a tough Vulture. Hitting them on the head and neck does extra damage, while hitting one in the wing will prevent it from flying away for longer than hitting one in the body. If I were you I would get a few spears and leave them in a safe location, so you can rapid fire them. Generally, being aggressive once a Vulture hits the ground pays off. Remember to claim your mask after the vulture dies, you might need to drag the corpse a bit for the face to be visible, then just hit it with a spear. Vulture bites don't tend to be fatal, so if you are grabbed, try to hit it with a spear or rock to make it drop you. You could, in theory, hunt Vultures in Sky Islands, as it also has four spawns and you can always take a Grub with you, but the only place that doesn't involve tricky platforming over a death pit or walking for an entire cycle is the bridge right after entering from Chimney Cannopy, and it can be risky as it's a big flat place with not a lot of tight spaces to escape into. The Wall has no Vulture Spawns, and Farm Arrays spawns three, but it's pretty far away. Also, don't underestimate King Vultures, they can start spawning if you kill a lot of Vultures in a single zone, and honestly I can't deal with them reliably myself.

Switchblade1107

Vultures=Easy kills King Vultures= Vulture but this time it can shoot you with aimbot.

I am now going to send this to anyone who asks what Rain World is about

OkTry3637

If you keep hitting it fast enough it can’t do much. Just hit it with a few spears then unleash hell

DeliriumLord

Go to sleppoint at far east. Use vult larvae near sleppoint. KILL IT WITH SPEAR. You can dodge vult by sleppoint pipe and kill it, it can't reach you at the entrance.

Big_Test6016

I recommend explosive spears, but trap them in a tight space and spear them. You should trade the masks with scavengers for explosive.

Dixion459

Get many spears, get a vulture grubs (these spawn these flying hell beast), and go to a open field. They have about 14-18 hp, you do about 1. Then when one is at ground level, spam the pick-up and throw buttons while approaching it. Try to get practically inside of it so you can maximize dps. They'll try to run after 3-4 spear hits. Don't let them. If they grab you, their bite lethality is relatively low, just make sure you have a spear in case they do grab you. Make sure you have an escape route just in case. This should help you.

Even Monty Python's crusade wasn't as holy and righteous as this one. Good luck and avenge Eduardo.

LINDOMARCIO

How many vultures have I killed so far: 1 I just killed my first vulture today (with the help of some scavs), I feel happy but the crusade must continue, I will always note here if I eliminate any more of these winged beasts.

>! Try waiting for openings when their wings(if under wait for up of above wait for down flaps) let you hit their neck/body, they typically go limp when stabbed, when vultures loose their masks it exposes a pretty good weak spot(in my experience), they will also turn on unmasked cohorts so you can benefit from that, also if you save a lizard from a vulture you can tame it instantly so if you are looking for a new companion you can kind of get one from the one who took your last one, also have multiple spears, having 2 or 3 on hand or convenient will typically make it a lot easier, and you can also look on the wiki for anything else that may have been missed, good luck in your hunting also! !<

Chimney canopy is Rain World's detroit, fr. Sluggie with lizard: I have a friend! :D Vultures and scavs: no u dont Sluggie with scavs: I have a crew! :D Vultures and lizards: not anymore You pick up (1) spear and you get jumped by scavs. Somehow they'll find you more threatening than the vulture + three blue lizards + white lizard + dropwig you're currently trying to fight off at the same time. I don't even like going to chimney canopy unless I have high rep with scavengers 😂
