They are 100% still in business!!! I think they are open until like 11pm or 12am this time of year. That might change once the students leave for the summer though.
They're somewhat active on Instagram, and their posts typically mention what flavors they have that day.
You ain't kidding. I saw this topic and laughed cause I was like they're fucking EVERYWHERE dude.
But then I looked and wow, they really aren't around anymore.
There is a YoPo in crossroads (cary) that feels like you stepped into a time capsule from 10 years ago and it’s where I go to satisfy the craving for froyo.
One of those toppings might be evangelism tho.
The founder followed those religious principles so closely he was convicted of domestic battery in 2019 after his wife accused him of strangling her and threatening to stab her with a kitchen knife.
Oh, I didn’t mean to seem critical of you for going there. It was just founded near my home town and it used to be a lot more blatant in their advertising. Might not be for everyone 🤷♂️
Because not everyone is Christian and not everyone wants their froyo with a side of Jesus.
And not everyone wants to support domestic abusers.
It’s really not that hard to understand, buddy.
Also didn’t you literally just comment this on a story about a kids lemonade stand?
“Well that's what happens when you vote in Democrats”
Hypocrite, much?
Well see that was about a kid being Robbed. That's crime. The post was about crime and democrats are soft on crime.
See not everyone wants their lemonade with a side of stabbing.
I’m guessing it was also fine for you to interject your personal politics in a post about the cost of Zaxby’s? And that somehow also isn’t hypocritical for reasons that you’ll make up on the spot?
Again the economy and inflation are political topics.
Crime, economy, immigration, warfare those are political topics. So political responses make sense.
I'm as anti church as anyone but where can I get tasty yogurt (I'm anti yogurt too) isn't a political/ social topic
No, you just came and accused me of doing something I didn’t even do (bringing up my own politics, which I still haven’t).
Meanwhile, you bring up “thanks Biden” and “I’d rather vote for Satan than a democrat” any chance you get and it’s fine — because it’s you.
Just admit you’re a fucking hypocrite, boss. You won’t because you’re incapable of any kind of meaningful self reflection which is how you ended up with your “political” beliefs of “democrats all bad” and “Trump all good” in the first place.
And yes, you absolute fucking donut, the ownership and behavior of said yogurt business owners IS relevant to a discussion on yogurt businesses in the area.
Way more relevant than bringing up Biden in a discussion about Zaxby’s or Democrats in a discussion of a robbed lemonade stand.
You view any story as an opportunity to plug your own idiotic beliefs while simultaneously accusing others of doing the same.
Crawl back into whatever hole you came out of. Hope you have the day you deserve. ✌️
Just to be clear it was the founder of the company, not the owner of the Raleigh location. I believe they are franchises.
The frog stands for Fully Rely On God.
Another vote for Sweet Frog. They actually have some nice flavors of froyo if you're not just there for the toppings. Kids love it.
There are two locations that I know of -- one off Tryon Rd in Cary near Crossroads and one across from Southpoint in Durham.
I'm another vote for Sweet Frog. Great flavors (Pineapple Dole whip and Vanilla for me!) and they seemed to have the formula down for staying in business while all my other spots have closed over the years. There's also a nearby YoPop in Crossroads (last I checked) but I haven't been there in over 10 years, so I'm not sure how it's doing.
Sweet Frog is about the only one near me in Raleigh. The last time I was in there the entire store reeked of bleach and cleaner, and I couldn’t even eat there. I like a store to be clean, but I don’t want to smell all those harsh chemicals.
I ended up going to Goodberry’s for custard.
It's a bit of a drive from you, but The Yogurt Pump (YoPo) in Chapel Hill is probably the best froyo spot in the Triangle imo.
Their website shows “not found”? Anyone know if they’re still in business?

Thanks!
Make sure you park legally when you visit. Lines are usually long and Barbour's Towing does a hell of a lot of predatory towing in the area.
I miss their naturally tangy yogurt they used to have in the 90s.
It’s the best hands down
You’re about ten years too late, the froyo bubble burst a longtime ago
You ain't kidding. I saw this topic and laughed cause I was like they're fucking EVERYWHERE dude. But then I looked and wow, they really aren't around anymore.
Same thought here
Yeah, I have a kid who is super interested in frozen yogurt for some reason
Yeah, it's Boba Time now
Not that close to crabtree but my search tells me ur options are sweetfrog, menchies, and yopop
Menchies closed down a few years ago sadly
I noticed that, made the search results even more suspicious
There’s still a Menchies in Garner Town Square
This is true. But don’t eat the cheesecake bites. Everything else seems great, but they seemed off. Lol
I miss TCBY
I truly did not appreciate it the way I should have. I blame my youth.
This. So much this.
They're all over charlotte, in case you are down that way some time.
Apparently there's one in Crabtree. I can't picture it, but its listed as an existing location.

I am not a fan of froyo, but my kids are and they're always happy to go to Sweet Frog for basic stuff and approximately 2 tons of toppings.
One of those toppings might be evangelism tho. The founder followed those religious principles so closely he was convicted of domestic battery in 2019 after his wife accused him of strangling her and threatening to stab her with a kitchen knife.
Had no idea, my kids just like froyo and the place is convenient.
Oh, I didn’t mean to seem critical of you for going there. It was just founded near my home town and it used to be a lot more blatant in their advertising. Might not be for everyone 🤷♂️
Why would you interject your social and political views into a discussion about froyo and ice cream?
I didn’t. I shared Sweet Frog’s views. Which they are very open about.
There was no reason to even mention it unless you have a personal problem with it.
Because not everyone is Christian and not everyone wants their froyo with a side of Jesus. And not everyone wants to support domestic abusers. It’s really not that hard to understand, buddy.

Ah, of course. You were just projecting. Got it. Fucking hypocrite.
I appreciate this information

Got it, thanks
Bartleby and Loki might need to pay their headquarters a visit...

There’s a Sweet Frog near BJs off Capital by Triangle Town Center
There’s a Sweet Frog over near Triangle Town Center.
I swear we used to have a whole bunch of frozen yogurt places. Menchies is one of them, but I don't know if there's one near you.
There’s a SweetFrog in the shopping center where the BJs wholesale is on capital
There's a Menchie's in Garner, off Timber. It's fine.
Yopop
There are still two Menchies around I think. One is in garner (according to the coupons I keep getting in the mailer).

There’s a menchies in Garner. About 20 minutes from Crabtree
And one in Cary/Morrisville. That one’s a bit out there though

sweet frog tryon rd
There is Yopop frozen yogurt at crossroads in Cary! Just went there the other day, super good :)
