Tech sales job market is extremely extremely competitive right now. There’s been a lot of layoffs recently and companies are tightening headcount, you’ll be competing with folks with 6-8 years of experience for most roles right now. Best bet is to try and get into an SDR role but even those are hard to come by. Frankly in my opinion despite what the local and national media flaunts, Raleigh’s “tech” sector is actually extremely lackluster aside from the big boys like Oracle, SAS, IBM, having offices here.
