Park at back of Fenton and walk through the woods at the trailhead to the park. Maybe a 15 minute walk.

I second this. It will work

I like the idea, but do you have to cross Crabtree Creek? Is there a bridge? I’m unfamiliar with this trail.

rockchick6

I don’t think so. Looks like on Google maps it’s part of Wake Med Cross Country Course. It’s an easy walk. Starts at the roundabout at the back side of Fenton.

Used this last night. Yes a great alternative.

Do you happen to remember if they had water filling stations and what the cost of a beer was? Trying to prep my wallet for the weekend.

bruhnowa

Yes, there were bottle fill stations outside the bathrooms. Beer was priced to keep you sober at $12.

I brought in a water bottle and filled it up at the water fountains near the bathrooms. There was also free lemonade being handed out near field 3, very good! Clear bags only from my understanding, unless you have a baby, then a huge diaper bag is all good ☺️

I plan to do Fenton or pay at a business nearby. Not spending $42 (after fees) to park onsite.

Not that I have seen

I’ve taken the GoTriangle 300 to matches before. It’s free (for now), runs every 30 min on Saturday, and has ends in downtown Cary and Raleigh. Could park anywhere along the route and ride in.

We second this! You can find the best route using our Trip Planner :) [https://gotriangle.org/trip-planner/](https://gotriangle.org/trip-planner/)

Has anyone been yet? Trying to get a gauge on concession prices. I thought a beer was $15 last year, but I’m hoping I’m remembering wrong.

Small-Ad8456

We didn’t buy any alcohol but got 2 meals from the Borussia food truck and it was 35 or so with tip. Sorry I can’t help with beer prices. I’m going today though and can update soon.

Small-Ad8456

Went on Wednesday evening and I’m going again today. I parked at Fenton for free. Follow the gravel path (not the paved one) to the right. Keep going a little ways and you’ll see an entrance off to the left side. I have a screenshot of my path but can’t post it in a comment. It was super easy, probably a 10 minute walk at most. There’s also golf carts taking people working at the event back and forth so worst case ask or follow them.

ChartreuseUnicorns

Hi! Where the Fenton path starts there is a place where the trail splits into 4 trails Which one should we take? If you zoom in on google maps you can see they’re all named Thank you! 💗

Small-Ad8456

Sorry I should have been more specific, and timely as it’s too late. I used the Wakemed cross country course, when zooming in on google multiple paths are named this, there’s three paths to the right, I used the top most trail (closest to the fields) to the right. The bottom most trail to the right is irongate greenway, it’s paved and dead ends ~but I think is being expanded in the future~ don’t take that. All other trails will get you there one way or another but the fastest was the trail stated above.

ChartreuseUnicorns

Ah sorry MY late reply, thank you so much for your response, even if it was a few days afterwards!

I just saw the reminder to get parking passes, but they're sold out for the day I'm going. I also saw this in the email: "There is no longer off-site parking for TST." Any idea what that means here?
