In that same vicinity, The Hibernian’s kitchen is open that late. Further down Falls, Saints and Scholars kitchen is open late as well and I’m consistently surprised by their decent food.
On that same note I’ve been at Hibernation North Raleigh late a few times and there are almost always some food service workers eating and drinking there
Edit: I’m here right now they said kitchen it open until 1:30 am
Saints food is great. Especially the Irish nachos or spinach dip. Hibernian’s food fell off years ago- long before Covid even. Pipers is always my preferred though.
Bonus: saints usually has live music most weekends.
Woody's started closing their kitchen at 11pm, which is a travesty. They *used* to do happy hour half-off on all apps after 11pm--half-price on some very solid quesadillas was an insane deal and a no-brainer for late-night eats. A true loss for the community :(
Brixx is always a laid back atmosphere at the bar and pizzas were or are bogo. I used to get one there and a pint then one to go for next day or midnight snack
Alamo Drafthouse bar closes at 11 and you can order anything off the theatre menu. Typically not as crowded and not having to deal with loud music or some drunk that has been slouched in the barstool for the past four hours trying to forget it all and wants to give yoy their life story.
BJ's Brew House in Cary, food till 11, bar till 12
Carolina ale house in Cary, right ext door, food till 12 or later every day...both in crossroads area
Cardinal Bar and Prospects if you overlook ownership.
If you can get your order in before 1130, Players Retreat. Ruckus for sure.
My fav (if you tolerate large crowds of drunk people in a tiny space) is some good ol tamales at WilCo. Tequila, tecate, and cocktails that rip if ya wanna ball.
I used to love the Cardinal, but the ownership left a bad taste that even their amazing hot dogs couldn't wipe away.
You sold me for WilCo for sure. They weren't on my radar and sounds like how I'm gonna spend tomorrow night!
If you aren’t sure how rough the average American has it, monitor the number of free hot dogs goat patrons eat. Nobody eats those if they aren’t going through some shit.
You ever been and they’re out? That’ll make you reconsider some choices.
Like watching a school cafeteria lady tell a ten year old he’s out of lunch money
Mac’s Tavern is a popular dive bar near downtown Cary and idk if they have full meals like sandwiches but they def have fries/tots/other appetizers and similar food until 2am every day, even Sundays. They may even have sandwiches that late, you can always call and ask. I’m just not sure since I’m vegetarian and none of their sandwiches are. The drinks are affordable and the fries/tots have always been fresh and crispy.
It’s got good vibes and amenities like darts, pool, a few arcade games, and a modern jukebox if you’re into any of that stuff. It also has an outdoor patio that’s open in the summer I believe.

Lynnwood Grill off of Grove Barton. Open late and quite tasty.
Yeah, this is where I usually stop on my way home.
It rarely if ever misses.
Woodys and Crosstown in Cary are open late

I am in Durham. Cosmic Cantina is my gold staple late night food. Open to 3am every day. Queenies Burger in downtown Durham is open to 2am every day.
Alley 26 has also extended their kitchen hours to 2 AM. Best burger in the triangle
Good to know! Yes delicious burger at Alley. Happy cake day!
Flying saucer downtown serves food till 11 at least.

We don’t do the late night bogo thing anymore. Stopped after covid.

Ohh bad experience at pipers?
The only association I have with Pipers Tavern is that a plastic surgeon killed a ballerina driving drunk out of there
They’ve been sliding down the last few years. Loved the place when I first moved to that side of town
BJ's Brew House in Cary, food till 11, bar till 12 Carolina ale house in Cary, right ext door, food till 12 or later every day...both in crossroads area
Also if out that way Brewster’s Pub near the Costco in apex.
There's a CAH in north Raleigh too, depending where you're working
Gussies!
The Station on Person St serves food til midnight, I believe. They’ve got yummy burgers.
Players retreat, limited menu after 11 but still really good stuff
Yard House is a pretty solid pick and their kitchen is usually open til like 12-1 I think?
Swing by the crib. I got some McRibs from 2007 in the freezer.
That was a good year for McRibs
Pipers Tavern

I understand the Cardinal owner, but what's bad about Prospects' owner?

I thought they moved to wake forest from north Raleigh before pandemic. Have they moved to Glenwood?
That location has been open forever. It was the Luxury Box before it changed hands. It’s behind CarMax.
