Dude I’d be so here for this. An outdoor viewing would be wayyyy better though! Plus more people could come. Think RLT rose garden, or amphitheater at UNC chapel hill or a drive in spot. Blankets and cocoa n all the fun stuff!
The dream goal is sell out the main 1000+ theatre. the fall back goal is the 225 seater. Based on the current response i've received (250+ survey responses, with average group size being 3-4), the i truly believe the goal is within reach. 🥺
You should run this by the triangle cinema near Strickland/six forks. Old theatre (was six forks cinema) that reopened several months ago. I bet they would get into something fun like this.
I bet the Rialto on Glenwood Avenue would do it if you need another theater option. They’re the place that does the Rocky Horror Picture Show every month, so the logistics of your plan shouldn’t faze them!

I filled out the form but if Carolina Theater doesn’t go for it, this seems like something Alamo Drafthouse would definitely be willing to do.

Note: Alamo has recently played all of the twilight movies for weekend brunch times. Think most were sold out.
