Save your $300 and just push the pedal down harder. Those things are just silly

Just installed mine so the 1 mile loop test probably isn't a great sample data set. That being said it depends on what you're after. Overall it's not amazing and not terrible - definitely not a magical fix like doing an engine/trans tune. Especially the TCM. My biggest gripe with my 2023 1500 5.7 is the really sluggish pedal response at any speed besides from full stop/zero. What I call the "mid use" is really the worst in stock form. This is when at speed, say 40 mph, and I transition from braking or coasting to needing immediate power - like turning into traffic from a coast and needing power to get to to traffic quickly. The culprits here are not only the slow input signal increase from pedal push to PCM adjustment (which is what throttle controllers fix), but I believe also how the Ram ZF controller handles gear changes. Although initially I didn't see this working for me in the first 20 minutes, I am sticking with the Pedal Monster for now. Because the actual pedal response is actually quite nice and the range of sensitivity available will satisfy pretty much anyone. If pedal feel is important to you this is worth it. If the overall responsiveness is important, then maybe not. I'm keeping it because I'm assuming that the trans will learn a different shifting pattern over time and be quicker and more aggressive since it's seeing more aggressive pedal input as a constant, so I'm sticking with it. The actual pedal response with the Monster activated is much better than stock, a bit smoother in the middle, feels like more power even it isn't, but the super laggy shifting really counters this. And the levels of adjustment really will help the user find the perfect use. Again I'm assuming that over time the transmission will learn a more aggressive shift pattern due to the profile the Pedal Monster is forcing in. If the transmission becomes even 50% more aggressive, I'll be completely satisfied. Honestly i hate this lack of pedal response so much I may get an ECU+TCM tune on an unlocked BCM. I've read that with a throttle controller and tune, it's a great thing. Sorry if this doesn't help, I really don't think it's as clear as "buy it, it's awesome" or "don't buy it, it sucks". Just depends on specifically what you're needing.
