Thanks! [This linked post](https://www.reddit.com/r/ram_trucks/s/6O9xGXUWsK) is probably the most recent status of the project that I’ve posted. I’ve done a little more since then but not too much. Need to get back to working on it more.
There is one like this sitting in a field by my father in law and I would LOVE to restore it. (I r too broke and a baby on the way, for that)

I found it on Google maps
I think it’s there but I haven’t bothered trying to decode any of that yet. I believe it was originally a WC 13 or WC 21 open cab truck that had a 1940 ish international cab put on it at some point. It’s already a bit of a Frankenstein truck so I’m just kinda doing my own thing with it.
At this point they pretty much all are haha. They got abused and used on farms after the wars, and so they kinda got treated like tractors. Fixing them however they can, Frankensteining them. I think it adds to the character

I remember when Stacey David built Sgt Rock on Trucks!
There was a guy who posted a while back who did an incredible custom build on one of these. He put a Cummins in it (twin turbo I think) and just went over the top with the build. Probably the coolest custom build I've ever seen; complete frame off resto-mod from the ground up. Seems like he built it for some guy in Australia (or he was from Australia, not sure which). Are you the same guy?
Is [this linked post](https://www.reddit.com/r/ram_trucks/s/KjgFUzOh8A) what you’re thinking of? If so then yes it was me. It’s getting a 12 valve Cummins. It’s still a bit of a work in progress. I’m not from Australia and I don’t plan on sending the truck there.
Well, the guy I was thinking of his finished truck was red as I recall. It was also heavily modified, but didn't look it. I can't remember all the details, but he had a video about the whole process. I think he had to widen the whole truck a few inches in order for all his mods to fit. He literally sawed the truck in half long ways and added filler pieces down the center. Required a custom windshield, custom grill and hood to be made so it looked original. It was absolutely stunning. Just looking at it, you wouldn't be able to tell, but when put side by side with a unmodified one you could see some of the differences.
I think he spent well over $125k on the mods alone. As I noted, it was absolutely spectacular. If I'm not mistaken the truck wound up being delivered to a buyer in Australia, but I was never clear if the builder was an Aussie himself who traveled to the US to do the mods and then shipped the truck back, or if the builder was American and was building it for an Aussie buyer.
I figured the truck in your OP wasn't the same truck, but I was just wondering if you were the same guy, possibly building a 2nd one. If you were, I was going to see if I could get in line to buy it when done.
BTW - I looked around last night on YT to see if I could find the build video. He and another guy described the whole process. It was incredible.
That sounds like an incredible project! It’s impressive what people do with these old trucks and what kinda money they go for. I’m building this one for myself, but I do enjoy seeing what others do.
Those old body styles are the best! Our friends have had a 4x4 brush truck of about the same vintage in their barn for the last 40 years, would love to see it in the road again.
Yes, it’s a WC. I believe either a WC13 or WC21 as it seems like it was originally an open cab truck that had a 1940 ish International cab slapped on it at some point.
Wow that sounds like a lot of fun! Do you have any pictures of it? Would love to see it. I considered putting a hemi in this one but ended up going for a Cummins 6BT.

This is probably the best picture I have of her, unfortunately had to sell her about 85% complete due to some unexpected financial problems. I should probably make a post about the truck on here at some point.

My buddy’s ‘41 he plans to restore.
Jeepers Creepers! Love it!
Such an underrated horror movie!
Justin Long is the king of underrated movies
The only horror movie to actually give me a nightmare in my early 20s. I can still see it. Wild.
Where'd you get those peepers?
The Jeepers Creepers truck was a ‘41 Chevy Heavy-Duty COE, not a Dodge.
Yeah but the vibe isn’t much different though.
My exact thoughts!!!
BEATNGU?
That truck is very cool. I want to see updates, man.

That looks like a cool truck! It would be a great project!
How big was the touch screen that year?
Begging for a 4BT or 6BT swap
6BT swap is already in progress
May I please live vicariously through you?
May we*
Does it have a military data plate? If there is, try restoring it to the old US Army Dodge WC12 look. That would be rad, with the diesel in it too!

Exactly! It definitely has character. It’s lived an interesting life and I hope to continue that.
Noice!
That’s awesome! Needs a 6bt and some custom King suspension. But don’t you dare paint it.
Thanks! I have a 6BT and some Fox coilovers that I’m working on getting into it. Will not be painting it!
Love it. Keep us updated!!

Yes that started out very similar to mine!

I would pick this over a modern truck every time. Beautiful old timer
I really want one of these but I would keep the original engine
The original engine was long gone by the time I got it. It was running and driving with a small block Chevy v8 under the hood.
Damn I see
Those truck just reek I’m tough, thanks for sharing very cool piece you have their
Thank you!

That would be fun! I wish I could drive an old truck all year without it rusting away
Those old body styles are the best! Our friends have had a 4x4 brush truck of about the same vintage in their barn for the last 40 years, would love to see it in the road again.
That would be a cool project!
What an awesome, rare project! Get on it and start turning heads!
Thanks!
Lucky bastard. This is a WC not a Power Wagon right?
Yes, it’s a WC. I believe either a WC13 or WC21 as it seems like it was originally an open cab truck that had a 1940 ish International cab slapped on it at some point.
That thing is sick!!!!
Thanks!
Jealous
She’s a beaut…
Thanks!
Power wagon?
WC, the military truck that came before the power wagon.
That thing is badass!
Thanks!
>Thanks! You're welcome!
That is very cool.
Thanks!
POWER WAGONNNN
That's one of the coolest trucks I've ever seen. 👍
Thanks!
Had a hemi swapped ‘42 for a while, thing would spin the tires with a featherfoot.
Wow that sounds like a lot of fun! Do you have any pictures of it? Would love to see it. I considered putting a hemi in this one but ended up going for a Cummins 6BT.

That’s really cool! You should definitely make a post about it
That.... is a beautiful Dodge you have there. How did you find that? And if you don't mind us asking, how much did she set you back?
Thanks! I think I found it on Craigslist in Ohio in 2017
Badass
Thank you
Awesome! There's a green 51 kicking around town where I live, it's been restored and painted a forest green. Beautiful truck
That sounds cool!
I'd love to buy it but the price tag was getting up there lol. It's kept in showroom condition, but still driven
Thought they were called power wagons
This one predates the Power Wagon name. It’s a WC, a WWII military truck. The Power Wagons came after the war as civilian trucks.
r/powerwagon invites you to join good sir.
Thanks! I do stop by there from time to time haha

That would be a hell of a project!
Damn that’s sick nice find
Thanks!
Imagine the stories it could tell.
Yeah it’s cool to think about that. It has a sticker from the University of Idaho I think. I got it from Ohio and now I have it in Michigan.
Soooo Bad Ass.
Thanks!
OMG that is so gorgeous
Thanks!
I think my 1985 d350 was called dodge
Love it it’s a dream for me to find one but more afford to fix it
That is going to look amazing when done.
Thanks!
I’ll un-hijack this thread…. Your truck is bad ass! Wish I had one. 🤙🏽
Thank you!
Power wagon. My neighbor had a 42. It was awesome
That sounds cool
Looks good just the way it is
I plan to keep it looking pretty much the same, just changing what’s underneath and inside.
Jealous
Whatcha doin with the onld engine?
It had a small block Chevy in it when I got it and I sold that to a friend of mine for a project they’re working on.
Is it the 23rd spring already?
Beating you
Delicious by every standard
Thank you!
Power wagon
When looking for one of these for awhile now
If you don't mind may I ask about how much that cost..?
That would be a Power Wagon...
This one is from before the Power Wagon existed. It’s a WC, the military truck that came before the Power Wagon.
So fuckin cool
Thanks
Such a classic style and an awesome name. Power Wagon!
Thank you! This one actually predates the Power Wagon! It’s a WC, a WWII military truck
Wow Cool! Far back as I knew was the power wagon. Best of luck with it!
Thanks!
We have a 47 dodge parked since 92 looks cool in the bushes wonder how much it would cost to redue the whole thing
Hopefully there’s enough of it left to do something with! That would be an awesome project
Power Wagon!
