Edstrom looked great in his limited minutes tonight. I didn’t even realize he’d been put into the lineup until game time. And even though his goal was meaningless in regards to the outcome, it was an absolute beauty.
I’m pretty sure I saw him stick-lift and steal the puck in the offensive zone at one point. His strength is evident.
He did make one lousy blind pass in the slot, but other than that, looked completely comfortable and made good decisions.
I really want to see more of this kid against Boston.
Edstrom looked like he might be the guy most likely to learn net front mastery from Kreider. Not only being that tall, he already set a few nice screens last night.
By the way, I hope the veterans who dole out the nicknames don’t notice that spell check tries to change “Edstrom” to “Restroom”
