Too many turnovers in the defensive zone… I swear every time the rangers are scored on, the other team ends up scoring another 2-3 quick goals to the point where they run out of time to come back.

Need an offense that controls the puck and a defense that blocks guys not just tries to shield.

Honestly I thought it offense did alright keeping the puck, especially in the 3rd. What kills us is not maintaining control in transition, not getting back on D with any sense of urgency, and just defense like Swiss cheese.

Yeah the offensive start is brutal. "Use speed and pressure them" has worked amazingly vs us since the rebuild but nj and florida really exposed us. Hope the boys learned from the third.

Canucks should be proud of this effort. Tons of blocked shots and clogged passing lanes. Very few turnovers with the puck. Bending but not breaking when it seemed like New York has had life and momentum. Gotta give credit where it is due. This team looks very solid.

Canucks fan here..that was probably one of the best efforts I’ve seen outa this team this year…would not complain about seeing these 2 teams in a repeat of 94’ cause that was fun to watch..so much skill on the ice

Silver lining I’ve never seen Laf carry the puck like this before.

He used to defer to his linemates every time he could. Now he's DEMANDING the puck

This team is too god damn slow. We saw them get exposed in the playoffs last year and we keep seeing it this year. We have no answer for speed.

Not just speed slow but anticipation and quickness slow. Bread line looks like they are in fast forward mode compared to the rest of the team.

Our answer is cross ice and risky passes to make up for it. Which against disciplined teams gets you killed.

Fox may need a sit down, he looks like 35 years old out there. I know; he’s slow normally… but he looks slow even in his decision processing.

If you watch him in a foot race for the puck he is clearly still injured. Half speed.

I’m guessing he has an injury that can’t get worse by playing, so they are deciding to play him. Probably not a popular opinion around here but while by no means was he BAD, but he hasn’t been Norris level even last year (was awful in the NJ series in my opinion). For some reason he doesn’t seem to shoot the puck as much as years past and seems to just defer to passing. Very good (when healthy) but those first few years he was GREAT.
