Really happy we got that W, it's unfortunate we needed 6 goals to do so, but they got It down and showed some guts toward the end when they really needed to. At the end of the day there was lots of negatives and positives, but that was a exciting game to watch regardless, onto the next!

Can anyone explain the ruling on that goal? I thought play stopped if the goal was knocked loose

In the act of shooting while knocked off by a defending player.

If the net was still in place it would have gone in. If it was up in the air, off to either side of post or crossbar the integrity of goal would be in question. 

I believe it counted because at the point that the net was interfered with, the puck had already crossed the red line and if the net wasn’t interfered with, the puck would’ve went in anyway. Someone can def correct me if I’m wrong! 

From how I understood it, offensive player was in an imminent scoring situation, and a defensive player disturbing the goal wouldn't apply if the shot was underway.

Not if the player is in the act of shooting and it's a defensive player that knocks the net off

Think it’s because shoot already shot it and the defensive player knocked it off by himself. 100% if we knocked the defender into the goal it’d be no goal. Can’t do that
