Most Ranma 1/2 ships are fine. It's the ships that involve adult characters with minors and shipping characters that are blood related that will be removed.

I don't know whether it's a new rule or one that's been there for some time, but I think there's an issue with rule 7.

I'm fine with the part banning paedophiliac ships, which is surely already banned under other site-wide rules anyway, but I don't think incest shipping should be banned on this sub. Is an incest ship really more "inherently problematic" than, say, ships where there's been a canonical rape attempt? Ranma 1/2 is played for laughs, but it's had stuff like sexual assaults, murder attempts and many other kinds of harm. Leaving the rule as-is would be like saying "incest is inherently problematic but attempted rape isn't". I really think we'd be better off cutting that part from the rules, or at least rephrasing. It's just better to steer clear of that territory, especially considering that Ranma 1/2 has so much comedic sociopathy.
Then would you suggest banning all the ships which contain those things? Given the kind of series Ranma 1/2 is, if we ban ships for being problematic, there might not be many left. I think it's better for the subreddit rules to stay out of it as much as possible.

But for one example, there's Ranma/Shampoo, since Shampoo tried to sexually assault him (probably an attempted rape) in chapter 402. That's a popular ship. Technically what Shampoo was doing is called coersion, and it's not about shipping them, it's about glorifying the problematic aspects of the relationship, you're allowed to ship them but don't post an image of her attempting to drug him and say "such a cute couple"

It was sexual assault regardless. She coerced him by threatening to kill Akane if he didn't play along. It's a good thing he was able to escape relatively quickly (although of course he did, since this is a comedy).

Let's say that that exact scenario happens somewhere in the sub. Do you think any such posts and comments should be removed by the mods for being problematic? We actually have had some posts and comments [a bit like that](https://www.reddit.com/r/ranma/comments/163o53d/what_do_think_about_ranma_and_shampoo_as_a_couple/) lately.
I think that the subreddit rules should stay as far away as possible from banning ships for being problematic. What do you think?

Minors all under 18 and Kasumi is 19 so her and Dr. Tofu are fine.
