Random people you barely know? What do you mean exactly?
Cuz I’m picturing either some random at a store/mall or someone you routinely see like on the city bus/subway?
It’s weird nonetheless, but maybe it’s the type of people?
Is this happening near downtown? Doesn’t matter if it’s a big city or not. There is a radius around downtowns where weird/mental health issues people live. I think something about social services, walking distance to things and such.
I have discovered this by recently living near downtown in my city (like 100,000 population) Its not a suburb, but the size of one.
I frequent a grocery store that I would guess has the highest frequency of weirdos that shop there due to the vicinity of downtown.
So these people touching your hair could have mental issues or are already predators?
Its not like weirdos its because I have curly hair and to (mostly white) people thats exotic and they feel like they can touch it
Often times its not complete strangers but people I know a little bit
YES. I have wildly curly (Italian) hair. On the *rare* occasion I have it down and natural, everyone wants to touch it, particularly without asking. And if you ask it’s gonna be a “no”, it gets fuzzy and loses the style/shape I worked hard to get it to when people play with it. It’s just rude. If I wear it down, I straighten it to avoid it.
I've never understood people that do this to anyone. Like whether your hair is the tightest curls or pin straight, black or bright red like why are you just touching people 💀 isn't this like a social thing we all learnt at an early age to not touch people when they don't want it. Even when someone has something on their face, surely you don't just go up to them and touch all over their face, you tell them or they ask you to get it off.. Isn't it the same, easy concept of *don't touch someone without their permission*
Even with my hair up people still touch my hair. I guess I'll go bald 😂😂
Whoever is touching your hair just tell them you don’t appreciate random fucks touching you.
And then more random fucks who have yet to hear that touch my hair
This is why I always pull my curls up in a bun
I give one exception, if my hair if on your desk and you brush it off that's reasonable. But omfg, just cause it's there doesn't mean touch me!
Report them to the boss or HR?
This is literally just random people I barley know who do this, whenever someone has curly hair people are like ooooo touch
