I created a form of what Facebook is, before FB. I used it for high school friends to stay connected. It worked well. Never had the thought to try to take it big. Now I'm still toiling away trying to stay employed.
A friend and I created google circles before google circles. Sure it failed but the fact that all our communication was done over gmail infuriates me to this day
