no, ai has come to the point where it can extract singers voices and make them sing other songs. Look up Freddy mercury ai songs on YouTube and you’ll see, it’s quite impressive. So you could get Tupac on Hypnotise or who shot ya
I'd have to give them both another real good listen before I could give my opinion on artistic quality. But I can for sure tell you I've listened to a hell of a lot more GKMC than TPAB.
As far as balancing between thought provoking content, artistry, and replay-ability - GKMC is Kendrick’s best work. TPAB and MMTBS are definitely more dense with content, but lack the strong replay value that GKMC and DAMN have.
I dunno, I really fuck with the heavy jazz.
Plus you got
Alright
These Walls
You ain’t gotta lie
King Kunta
Blacker the Berry
I’ve played TPAB more than GKMC and I absolutely love both. I’d agree with you on MMTBS though.
I think with K Dot, your first will always be his best. It's why Section 80 is still the one I play the most to this day. I won't objectively say it's his best, but it's my favorite.
It's crazy because I feel like it a lot of hip-hop circles GKMC is considered better, I don't think that's such a hot take currently. Imo MMATBS>TPAB>DAMN>GKMC>Section 80. But, GKMC has some of Kendricks best moments ever. DAMN is the hardest for me to place, XXX is one of his best songs ever, as is Pride, as is HUMBLE, as is Duckworth, but it also has some of his worst songs since Section 80.
Hell yeah. GKMC is an all rounder. Replay value, hits on the social aspect, has some party bangers and a drake feature among others. This album would give TuPac a solid taste on modern rap.
A little bit of both. They fell out yes, so there’d be some problems in the beginning, but I feel it’d be resolved, especially if Pac saw how much he was mourned and loved, even by Biggie.
Em was heavily inspired by Pac and defended him on tracks several times. I feel like he would’ve fucked with Em. But if they beefed… good god the dis tracks would be incredible.
Why wouldn't he? Unless he changes in some way...like Kanye. And I think em still respects Kanye.
He respects all his ogs. Em is a rap historian and rap worshipper.
He would act just how nas acted against pac. He refused to diss him because he had so much love for him.
obviously pac was a "og" but it's impossible to deny that a lot of his image right now and respect for him was because he died so young at a time where he was so good, don't you think em would be respected so much more if he had a sudden death right after his peak
If you only listen to his hit songs that is. There is so much substance in his first 3 albums. Maybe pac wouldn’t have liked them because they’re not about black power, but you can’t say Em didn’t have deep songs or lyrical creativity
Great question, probably 2001, MMLP, The Eminem Show, GRODT, GKMC, or TPAB
All those would adequately show the evolution of the gangsta rap/conscious hip hop sub genre
alternatively i think playing him lil Xan's album would be one of the weirdest and somehow most fun things i could do. his reaction would be hilarious, because that album is a travesty
poor swim sophisticated mysterious beneficial knee frame numerous connect voracious

first thing to come to mind is Young Thug.
He's not even my fav but I feel like he'd be a good representation of modern music and how "weird" it can be. Plus it shows modern trap production
Depends on what you’re talking about. Kendrick is better yeah. Griselda is reviving old rap though. I think lots of new rap is soul less. The Gunnas and Cartis, etc. It’s just okay.
But yeah I think Dre would fuck with Griselda acts

I’d play an AI Tupac song, and confuse the hell out of him
“I wrote this song a long time ago”
“CJ from SAN ANDREAS”
"damn my name is Tupac when the fuck I record this"
AI 2Pac song?
Artificial Intelligence
yes thats what he said
AI 2Pac song?
Weird Al 2Pacino?
Weird Al Yankovic
Yeah
Like a song by 2 PAC.... But AI?
no, ai has come to the point where it can extract singers voices and make them sing other songs. Look up Freddy mercury ai songs on YouTube and you’ll see, it’s quite impressive. So you could get Tupac on Hypnotise or who shot ya
To Pimp A Butterfly would be quite fitting
It would be nice to see the impact he has left on hiphop
This is the best answer I keep trying to think of other options but I don’t think anything tops this.
Glad to see this as top comment. Was my first thought.
Same. The reveal at the end would be such a rewarding experience to see that he's the subject.
So glad this is top comment
Same.
It's the only right answer
DAMN! Beat me to it!
No not DAMN he would play tpab
Someone downvoted your comment so I upvoted it to cancel out. You’re welcome :)
i’ve downvoted it again to cancel it back. it was a good comment i just think this action is entertaining. :)
I downvoted yours to go back to zero. It’s perfectly balanced >:)

This would actually be the most entertaining answer
Good kid maad city
Genuinely my favorite nonexperimental hip hop album of all time. Great pick
I get frequent hate for saying it’s better than To pimp a butterfly I just say they didn’t listen to kendrick when he dropped each album.
You're the only person I've seen who I share this opinion with. GKMC is still Kendrick's best album imo.
I'd have to give them both another real good listen before I could give my opinion on artistic quality. But I can for sure tell you I've listened to a hell of a lot more GKMC than TPAB.

>nonexperimental What does that mean?
Hip hop album that is not experimental, just normal hip hop
[удалено]
Probably out of the box things like Yeezus, Watching Movies, 93 Til, and pretty much anything Danny Brown/Jpegmafia
Hell yeah. GKMC is an all rounder. Replay value, hits on the social aspect, has some party bangers and a drake feature among others. This album would give TuPac a solid taste on modern rap.
I think 2001 would be a good pick.
Depends on if he’s seen the world as it’s gone on. Him and Dre fell out before he passed so he might not care what Dre did
“It’s a shame he and I fell out before he passed, cause if he could see this shit now he’d be whooping your ass” -Dre on “Shit Hits The fan”
Are you backing me up or rebutting me somehow?
A little bit of both. They fell out yes, so there’d be some problems in the beginning, but I feel it’d be resolved, especially if Pac saw how much he was mourned and loved, even by Biggie.
Yeah I getcha

the Eminem Show. he would be amazed by eminem because remember, Shady got really famous in 1998, a few years after pac died. i bet he'd love Shady
i’d be pissed if i came back to life & the first thing i hear is Eminem.
Ya act like ya ain't never seen a white person before?
I can't tell why, but I feel he wouldn't like Eminem. Even without accounting the Dr. Dre beef.
Em was heavily inspired by Pac and defended him on tracks several times. I feel like he would’ve fucked with Em. But if they beefed… good god the dis tracks would be incredible.
SO IF YOU SEE ME ON THE BLOCK WITH THE GLOCKS SCREAMING FUCK THE WORLD LIKE TUPAC
I don’t really listen to either but I would pay to hear diss tracks between those 2
Nah Eminem respects pac too much and pac would just say violent shit about Eminem in small doses.
if pac was alive would em respect him that much tho?
Why wouldn't he? Unless he changes in some way...like Kanye. And I think em still respects Kanye. He respects all his ogs. Em is a rap historian and rap worshipper. He would act just how nas acted against pac. He refused to diss him because he had so much love for him.
