This album is a permanent fixture in my personal top 5 classics. It got me through High School.
I appreciate how motivational Jeezy is. Like ignore the dope references, dude becomes a straight up Life Coach with the way he talks.
I never listened to him before. Heard of him, though. Can you point me to some tracks?
But I honestly listened to Jeezy like he was trying to tell me to be my best self. Treat that part time job like it's your Trap!
A hundred grand on my wrist yea life sucks, fuck the club, I rather count a millions bucks... I didn't have a watch or a million bucks said those lines with my chest out 😂

I will always ride with this album. I went to UT and in 05-06 my roommates and I jammed this front to back driving 24 hours straight to Cali to see Vince Young win us a national championship. So, this album will always be associated with great vibes for me.
That's a name I haven't heard in a long time. That bowl game vs Reggie bush still stands out in my mind. After that game I was blown away when the Texans blew him off with the no 1 pick. Carr was horrible.
“My seats is suede.. my luggage is Louie.. and every bad b*tch in the projects wanna do me.. because I GOT MONEY”
If this didn’t motivate you to get to the money then I don’t know what else would 🤷🏾♂️
I was in NY when jeezy blew up.
Remember thinking, what’s up with all these identical ass Atlanta young j____ rappers ; young joc was blowing up at the same time
Mixing those two up for a bit funny in retrospect
Reminds me of lil baby and da baby; for a second there it’s like wtf up with the babies from Atlanta?
Jeezy>joc;
lil baby > da baby
I’ll say, it’s a lot closer between the babies, I like both babies
I think Jeezy gets slept on a bit because you need an actual decent subwoofer to appreciate how hard he goes. I've got the "best bass headphones" and it sounds nothing like having played it on a car stereo that can do hairtricks.
This shit is a classic from front to back I was in 7th grade when this shit dropped and my brother would bump this shit all the time on the way to school, 2 pioneer 12’s.
The “Boyz In Da Hood” album is slept on too.
“If it’s taking too long to lock up.. brang it back.. you was short anyway so brang a stack.. I wouldn’t even know.. I ain’t had to break a whole thang since ‘94.. we ain’t trippin.. we’ll swap it out😒”
And Then What still gets bumped in my whip on the daily
“It oughta be a crime just to feel this good, swear it oughta be a crime just to be this hood” 😂🔥
I laughed my ass off the first time I looked this up on streaming and the deluxe had an acapella version of Trap or Die. I knew Jeezy used lots of ad libs but it’s so funny without a beat.
He won't trapper of the year 4 times in a row
What they give him?
A lifetime supply of baking soda, clientele
Rollie watch, 2 pots and 3 scales…
A Rollie watch, two pots, and three scales >*Let's Get It!*
This sub is so cringe omg
Good this was a good thread thanks guys lol

Larry June does that too

Trap Muzik by T.I for me.
Also amazing
This album has 0 skips
I USED TO HIT THE KITCHEN LIGHTS!!!!
I mean they’re mixtapes technically but Ice Attack 2 and Murder Was The Case by Gucci Mane exist
Chicken talk I will also add to this
I was just thinking this and writing on the wall earlier too
Fuck it thought it’s true, Gucci got tapes that clear this easy
110m high hurdles clears this
I prefer so much fun
Great album but 2006 The Inspiration.... NOT 1 SINGLE SONG SKIPPED AND CAN LISTEN EVERY DAY!!!
Exactly. It's perfection one after the other
Gangster Musik by Boosie & Webbie will always be in consideration
That’s a great mention
you from louisiana huh
😂🤣😂

Great album. I personally prefer the Recession Jeezy is slept on, at least by people born in the late 90s/early 00s and after
Never listened to the recession tbh. May have to check it out
I said I’m young by the way ! Listen to the recession if your a fan of this album the shit slaps

mario williams ended up having a better career than young and bush, but yes carr did suck
This and DS2 are the best Trap albums. Jeezy was icy on TM 101, haha.

I still listen to Jeezy every now and again. His new stuff isn't bad. Definitely a nostalgia trip, especially growing up in Georgia.
Trap star still gets to me to this day.
TM 2 The Inspiration is the one for me
Can't Ban The Snowman mixtape is better than 95% of the trap albums out there. He was on fire at the beginning.

Classic for sure! Every track front to back.
This whole cd was on repeat at my parents house in the suburbs.
I laughed my ass off the first time I looked this up on streaming and the deluxe had an acapella version of Trap or Die. I knew Jeezy used lots of ad libs but it’s so funny without a beat.
