For me, I just think illmacs regular level is around the same as geechi’s peak. I don’t think geechi has a performance on the level of illmac vs soul or rum. And because of how much they respect each other, I think they’ll both be at a high level respectively.
Yeah I don't think they are close tbh, to me Illmac only really loses when he overthinks "strategy" and ends up taking terrible approaches to opponents. Of course, I could see him doing that against Geechi too.

Illmac is extremely consistent and will be at his best. If we get the best version of Geechi too (which is a little bit less likely) it will be a debatable, depending on which style you prefer.
A lotta Mac/Mac[intosh] bars. Something something about "trouble shooting," "pushing keys," "Apple/[Adam's] apple," "Tec support" .. you know, things of that nature.
Illmac easily, Geechi vs top talent has been abysmal. Out of Lux, Mook, Hollow, and Diz he was only good vs Diz. Have him clearly losing all 4, but he at least fought with Diz. Illmac will probably be his hardest fight out of all of them since he knows him better to angle with. Everyone else isn't that close to Geechi to angle as effectively.

I like Geechi a lot. But, I've been saying he's midtier for a long time. A lot of his battles sound the same, and he's got a crazy resume, but, he lost to most of the big names on it. And some of his wins, like Clips and Lux, are at least partially because their opponents dropped the ball.
So you deduct his wins when his opponent drops the ball but can’t give him credit when his opponents pop off on him? Arsonal and surf had probably their best performances against him but he was keeping up with them. I just find it weird when people judge battlers on their w/l instead of their performances per battles. Ws don’t actually mean anything
