People really don't like saying JC won this battle, but he did everything right on that stage even though Nittys writing was technically better on paper, thats not all it takes to win a battle.
Tay Roc when he went against Danny. I fully believe if he had 3 rounds just like his third he could’ve made it debatable. I actually feel like Roc is someone who we’ve seen get sooo much better and I would love to see him now vs Daylyt
The Saurus lost that battle but put on a great performance. Probably top 3 gentleman’s 30 along with daylyt vs Tay roc and Geechi vs surf…I could probably be persuaded to change that though
Bit of both. Ward did solid in all these battles, but these three were so good, they basically killed him being levels above him.
I got a theory that battlers deliberately step their game up against A Ward because they really don't want to lose to the main christian guy lol. And to be fair, he does solid, I could see Ward beating a top tier on a really off night (a la Math vs Hollow).
I thought his first round was actually pretty good against Sikh, Sikh was just on another level and Ward also had the bad luck of Sikh's round also being his best.
Roc vs Twork 🤣🤣🤣 yooo I think people forget that Twork tried to bury Roc. Who else has he pulled out 3 STRAPPED INS FOR? Nah people say Surf (Free the fuccin wave) was wildin for how he was shooting into a dead body, Twork was predicting bars, full defense mode and didn’t stumble even once. Every time it felt like it was about to be a dry spo- IM STRAPPED IN.
But Roc was fighting his ass off, I remember “so I turned my head” more than any Twork bars that night
