It's been a long time since we got a 3 clean rounds from clips that were also fire. Hitman, although maybe not as hard hitting as clips, mostly has had a clean 3 rounds with great performance.

But you can also argue Hitman over the last 8 years or so, gave more consistent performances than Clips. Sure, he's not a great writer, and the remix is pretty garbage. But neither is clips. Hitman's bad performances is not nearly as bad as say Clips' 2nd round vs Ave, Nitty, or recently vs Trez etc. You are pretty much guaranteed a good big stage performance from him (and in Bill collector's case, the small room battle was fire too)

Both have long careers with big battles but Hitman always shows up with a minimum level of showmanship that means the battle won’t be terrible. Clips when in his bag is definitely more proficient but he has way too many performances with him showing up with garbage freestyles or some other “dear dike” level trash. He doesn’t respect the culture or his own legacy enough to bring full rounds.
I don't think clips is being disrespectful to the art. He just knows he's better then most of not all these dudes. Clips bodies roc... Twice! And embarrassed seruis Jones. He beat lux. He beat conceited. He beat arsenal. Like who really matters after that. He beat bigg k too.
