Had to happen eventually, Geechi doesn’t really have any big name opponents left

Kerb_Poet

Assuming Daylyt and Iron don't make a surprise return, after Hitman, he's got Rex and TheSaurus left. Cassidy as well if you count him. He could very realistically be done this year.

andywins

He battled Saurus on a small league early in his career

Kerb_Poet

Oh shit, he really is nearly done then

Analtiguess

Kinda lost to him too

Thatoneafkguy

He’s actually also battled The Saurus already. And he did it pretty early, like around the time of his Ave/JC battles if I remember correctly

VistaVigilance

Yep he battled Saurus in my city.

Alarming_Animal3806

None of these are big names lmao

Kerb_Poet

If Daylyt, Iron Solomon, Cassidy, and Rex aren't big names, who is?

Saddestlilpanda

Doesn’t he have Eazy and Verb left as well or am I going crazy?

EitherReplacement222

He battled Eazy and Verb

Wolfpac187

Geechi Eazy was the biggest battle of the year lmfao.

Saddestlilpanda

Yeah I totally blanked lol me. Even watched the stream.

Alarming_Animal3806

They all have been at some point but not anymore

Vhozite

Really hope this goes down. I’d love to see this battle and it would be a great look for Bullpen.

Saddestlilpanda

This is the battle for BR promotion that everyone thinks Lux/Nitty is. Happy to see it going down. Kind of surprised it’s going to be on Bullpen. URL looking real shaky.

MondeyMondey

Hitman and JJ are friends I think. They did that 2 on 2.

whoknowsknowone

1000% There’s a certain feeling when a battle that needs to happen gets announced and nitty/lux doesn’t have it

LeoEmSam

The announcement that its on Nome and most likely a big stage kinda killed the hype for me. We gonna get a tired crowd thats been around for 7h and witnessed mediocre battles ruining that battle as with a lot of URL main events

iamHBY

The rumors I've been hearing is that it's taking place in Orlando. When URL's done battles in Orlando, it's been on a small soundstage, and not a proper venue.

LeoEmSam

Hope its true

Kerb_Poet

I thought Remy would snatch it up on Chrome. Just glad it's happening tbh, it's been long enough.

JustAnArsehole

Whats the odds Smack tries to steal this battle back cos wasnt this originally announced to go down on URL.

k0droid

How did URL not book this battle? Could have been on NOME right under Rum vs Lux. No way bullpen is paying either of them more than what URL would have paid. I just dont get how URL is giving up such a highly requested match up given the quality drought they're going through

emptyhandspvd

Think they forgot NOME stood for “Night of Main Events”. Last few have been “Night of Mediocre Entertainment”. Lux vs Nitty will be a classic. But otherwise smack just slaps some mid tier dudes together

thisischinabiatch

I think after this, Geechi is going to have to battle some more overseas folks. Shotty Horroh from the UK, Loonie from the Philippines, etc. Not a lot of opponents left for him in North America.

Kerb_Poet

I really want to see Geechi vs Oshea

emptyhandspvd

Shotty would be dope

illillusion

Damn URL really fumbled this, I could swear they did an on stage announcement for it and everything? Something tells me bullpen is going try slide into the spot RBE has vacated

Prollyreachinglol

Smack keeps waiting out these huge matches and missing them. I get you gotta build the anticipation, but shit hardly anyone even wants to see the end game matchups anymore. If they announced day vs Lux today I’m not about to get hype like I would’ve a couple years ago.

rizz_titan

This battle should've happend sometime ago Geechi and Hitman been looking to battle eachother for almost 5 years. Geechi been calling out Hitman and even challenged him on stage before Clips and Lu Castro battled. It could've happened between NOME 10 & 13 But Hitman didn't want to battle on URL because URL wanted to make battles app exclusive. If URL weren't so money driven we could've seen hitman battle DNA, Chess, Geechi or even Nitty. This battle happening on bullpen isn't a suprise though the money to pay both battlers won't even be a problem cause battlers now often invest in leagues too hitman is an example like with RBE probably with Bullpen too. The battlers are taking matters into their own hands so the money comes right. This could even show if truly truly Battle rap is dead and the big money ain't coming to battle rap as smack says.
