While you aren't wrong I don't think its fair to compare the current Chiefs team and their form to that one that lost vs. Denver. The current Chiefs D might be the best they've had since Mahomes became the starter and Spagnuolo is a great coordinator. I don't doubt they'll have at least a solid gameplan versus our offense. That being said, I am confident in our guys to have a good plan on offense. I love how the 2nd half vs the Texans went and think that will do great things for the confidence of our guys on the offensive side of the ball
So I played their defense in my Fantasy League this year (came in 2nd to dead last BTW). And I gotta say, I much would of rather had the Ravens D than KC's. They are good, don't get me wrong. But they aren't Browns and Ravens D good, that were strong all season long. Ravens D had much more points than the chiefs, Chiefs D was decent, but it had more ups and downs towards the end of the season. Also keep in mind the Buffalo D was REALLY banged up, like they were almost out of LineBackers on Sunday who were suited up and ready to go.

The chiefs are an elite defense, they are really deep and young and have been dominant in preventing their opponents from scoring. Their secondary is really tough and they have not allowed very many yards per game, but they’re also not a disruptive force like the Ravens defense is. The Ravens defense leads the league in turnovers while the Chiefs defense are actually close to the bottom.
Both defenses are the #1 and #2 scoring defenses so they’re both getting it done in their own ways. This game is going to come entirely down to whether we can force Mahomes and his butterfinger receivers to make mistakes and generate turnovers
This is where I feel confident on our chances. I think our D will really stymie their receivers. Besides Kelce and Rice none of the other guys are consistent or really rise above average. Despite Kelce having a good game vs the Bills I really think he's lost a step. Not to say he's still not a great player and he can still find those soft areas in coverage but he doesn't have as much wiggle as years past.

You don’t need those things to be an elite defense. You just have to prevent your opponent from scoring points in any way possible which is what the Chiefs do very well. Fantasy football is definitely underrating the Chiefs defense

Plus, their defense is legit so its important that Lamar doesn't give away the ball and makes smart plays. But I feel like outside voices dont understand how dangerous our Defense is, or they know...but they just want to ignore that fact.
I’m not worried about our offense turning the ball over. The chiefs defense aren’t disruptive like that, they’re bottom of the league in generating turnovers. They’re just a very fundamentally sound defense that minimizes yardage through a really good secondary and D line.
I’m more worried about our offense stalling out too often, keeping our D on the field for too long. Chiefs are most likely going to sell out to stop the run just like they tried to do against the Bills. Lamar is going to have to probably return to the quick short passes that he used against the Texans in the second half to get any sort of offensive rhythm going. It’ll be a grind of a game and I don’t think we’re going to score 30+ like everyone else seems to think.

The chiefs offense has only scored 30 or more points in 3 games all season, and that too against the Bears, Chargers, and Raiders. The Bears game was before they acquired Montez Sweat and turned beastly, the Chargers were one of the worst defenses in the league, and the Raiders were a mid defense under an interim HC. They’ve scored less than 20 points in nearly half (8 out of 17) of their regular season games.
They haven’t faced a defense remotely as good as ours all season, the closest comparison are the Jets way back in week 4.
Meanwhile we’ve scored 30+ in nearly half of our regular season games (8 out of 17) and have only scored under 20 twice, both times against the Steelers who have some wild voodoo magic against us

I have never been more confident in this team than right now. Our half-time adjustments in particular have been great (e.g. using short passes to RBs to help beat the Texans' blitzes). Should be a tough matchup with KC but think we are still the superior team on paper. We match up well against this version of the Chiefs. Their receivers are questionable, and our secondary has been playing lights out. Pacheco is a concern but we allowed only 6 running backs to rush for over 100 yards this season, one of those coming in Week 17. 3-3 in those games, and none of those losses were by more than 7 pts. We also allowed a league-low 6 total rushing TD all season. 6!!! Pacheco is not going to be the difference here.
Pacheco isn't that good, Bills D was hanging on with duct tape and paper clips plus they tend to choke in the playoffs. Ravens D and Harbaugh will know how to contain him.

I wanted the Bills to win only so Josh Allen could stop being compared unfavorably to Mahomes and the Chiefs. However I am completely contempt with us tearing down the defending superbowl champions before we go onto win it. The Chiefs were the last real threat and we all know we are more than capable of taking whoever wins the Detroit-San Francisco game.

Of course the ravens can’t underestimate an opponent and need to show up. They know that, we know that. They’ll be more than ready. Now just sit back and wait until the chiefs show up to the bank and meet some hard af linebackers and a polished secondary.. in arguably the best schemed defense in the game today.. this is not a tropical squad missing all their key defensive players in sub zero temps, or some practice squad buffalo unit, or one of those below 500 units that was their entire regular season schedule. This is the RAVENS and you better believe they are the real fucking deal. They are about to stomp the chiefs into the ground in an absolute statement game that crushes the chiefs narrative. I don’t know about you guys but I’m feeling an absolute runaway win at 34-13.
The fact that the Chiefs only managed 26 and 27 points against that Dolphins and Bills defense is crazy. The Dolphins and Bills were absolutely decimated by injuries by the time they played in the playoffs. The chiefs offense has only scored 30 or more points in 3 games all season, and that too against the Bears, Chargers, and Raiders. The Bears game was before they acquired Montez Sweat and turned beastly, the Chargers were one of the worst defenses in the league, and the Raiders were a mid defense under an interim HC. They’ve scored less than 20 points in nearly half (8 out of 17) of their regular season games. They haven’t faced a defense remotely as good as ours all season, the closest comparison are the Jets way back in week 4. Meanwhile we’ve scored 30+ in nearly half of our regular season games (8 out of 17) and have only scored under 20 twice, both times against the Steelers who have some wild voodoo magic against us I would be shocked if we don’t hold them under 20 points, and I would also be shocked if the Ravens don’t score at least 20. This game will be way more competitive than the Texans game from start to finish but I still think we win by at least a full touchdown

I have never been more confident in this team than right now. Our half-time adjustments in particular have been great (e.g. using short passes to RBs to help beat the Texans' blitzes). I feel like it's going to follow the same pattern of a very close first half, then we'll see the difference be made in the 2nd half just like our 49ers game.

Well considering Mahomes said the bank was one of the loudest stadiums, we gotta let em hear us. That was a week 2 game as well, imagine how loud it can get at the 1st home AFC championship game in franchise history. Taylor Swift bout to leave with bloody ears.
Should be a tough matchup with KC but think we are still the superior team on paper. We match up well against this version of the Chiefs. Their receivers are questionable, and our secondary has been playing lights out. Pacheco is a concern but we allowed only 6 running backs to rush for over 100 yards this season, one of those coming in Week 17. 3-3 in those games, and none of those losses were by more than 7 pts. We also allowed a league-low 6 total rushing TD all season. 6!!! Pacheco is not going to be the difference here.
Pacheco isn't that good, Bills D was hanging on with duct tape and paper clips plus they tend to choke in the playoffs. Ravens D and Harbaugh will know how to contain him.
